Agreed. A bit of grooming is necessary but this crap is over the top.

- I keep my hair shaved because I'm going bald. That one's simple.

- I shave my face because I don't like beards. Again, simple. I do wear aftershave for obvious reasons.

- I keep my junk trimmed for a variety of reasons. Number one, comfort. Number two, honestly, if you expect women to willingly suck your d*ck, you have to clean it up and not smell like Borat. No matter how alpha you are. This is a first world deal, though, I have to admit.

- I shave my feet because hair irritates the sh*t out of me when I have on my boots. Simple again.

- I spray a mild cologne.

All this other stuff.....just bath and wash your sh*t with a rag or something, and you don't have to worry about nasty feet or whatever. Who cares what they look like, are what they are.

^Dude, if you shave your feet, youre in a similar boat as anyone in this thread. And I have not even seen anyone mention that. Guys here are talking about keeping rough calluses and nails in check.

Simply washing feet in the shower with a rag wont stop that, hence why some dudes have to take extra measures. No different from you having to take the extra measure of shaving your feet. In my case my feet dont get hairy enough that I need to do that, but I definitely have calluses that need tending to. Good grooming is good grooming. Gotta deal with what youre given.

lighten up, where is your sense of humor? it's funny when someone has a different opinion on something they are called a troll. i'm surprised to hear that coming from you when most of this forum has called you a troll for expressing your opinions.

your comment is false btw, just because some guy spends all day at the beauty parlor getting a wax, pedicure, manicure, the buff and polish, doesn't mean he is going to land a ton of vagina, you need the game and looks to accomplish that.

Trying to put down men and call them feminine is pretty lame...especially considering were talking about a topic that can help guys do better with women.

And please read carefully. What I said was that there are men who take very good care of their appearance, and get tons of tail. I didnt say all men who take care of their appearance will get tail. My point was that it can be of great help and a dude shouldnt be trolled or called feminine because he wants to look good.

Jersey shore type dudes are very much macho dudes, but still pretty metro when you think about the effort they put into looking good. And Im sure you couldnt go hang out down on the shore, calling dudes feminine, and not get into a fight.

I tried my first apple cider vinegar bath last night. I used half a gallon in about a half-full bathtub and soaked for 30 minutes.

I think I'm hooked. The acid eats the dead skin off. My hands and feet are softer already. Plus I think it will cure every small skin problem I have, which are each caused by bacteria, fungus, or viral matter. The acid changes the ph so that the organism dies.

Never thought to use ACV in a bath, but Ive been using it in my hair for years. Its a GREAT clarifier. It gets all the gunk out of your hair.

I like shampooing with castile soap since its all natural and healthier for you then stuff with synthetic stuff in it. Basically, all soap is made with a base, hence castile soap being slightly basic though. And the apple cider vinegar is an acid, though only slightly acidic. The castile soap changes your hairs PH, and can make it feel too stripped of everything (it really cleans well). So the ACV helps counteract this, changing the Ph in the other direction as you already mentioned, while also being a good clarifier.

And then it does all those good things you mentioned as well. Dunno if Ill ever try a bath though. I freaking hate the smell lol. And it stings like hell if it gets in your eye.

nobody was being put down, nobody was being called feminine, you are just being insecure about it that's all. going to the beauty parlor to get your eye brows plucked, getting manicures, pedicures, the buff and polish are feminine activitites, because women do that stuff.

you need to get a sense of humor jaylan, that's what women look for in a man, not a cuticle on your finger or a callus on the bottom of your foot. the only way she would notice that is if you pointed it out to her. do women you hang out with inspect the bottom of your feet?

getting a pedicure at the beauty parlor isn't going to help you get better women.

that's what you were referring to, nobody was being trolled or called feminine, doing those things are a feminine act, you are taking offense to it so you must feel feminine for doing it.

nothing wrong with being groomed and looking your best because you should. this other stuff is just going overboard with insecurities. where i come from, women like a rugged man who works with his hands, they dont mind a callus or two and a little stubble because that is what a real man does. your hands and feet are supposed to be well used if you're doing anything worth doing.

i've seen guys when i'm out who can be better groomed, but they have a woman and the women don't really seem to care when they are with them.

Asa, leave the thread already. You add nothing useful to the discussion. And just because you think something is feminine, doesnt mean other people feel the same. Remember, culture plays a large part in perception. There are times in history and parts of the globe in present day, where men do things that women also now do. Im guessing youre American based on the way youre talking. All this stupid "real man" sh!t doesnt really need to be in this thread. Open your mind a little bit or gtfo.

Having a callous or two is far different from having straight up ugly feet that scratch someone if not maintained. If you read my OP, youd have realized I dont merely have a callous or two. And while women like working hands...they dont want a man with poor or disgusting hands and feet. And most women prefer a main who maintains his facial and body hair well. So I see nothing "feminine" about proper hygiene and doing things that get women more turned on by your body.

Anyways, like I said...if you have nothing positive to bring to the discussion, you can leave the thread. The men here so far have provided good info on things that will help a man get laid. If thats too "feminine" for you...maybe you should find another forum.
