It's not just music. Every layer of media portrays white males as AFC. Westcoaster can explain this even better then I can. But basically, you have almost every outlet of media working hard to feminize white males.

Look at sitcom characters (Matthew Perry on Friends, Ray Romano), all straight up AFCs. Then look at movie characters. Have you ever seen a white player in any movie since Swingers? I can't say I have. Every year, white males get more and more afc in movies. Even comercials are starting to be like this. You have those rona tool comercials that show women as master carpenters and males as clueless slobs.

This is pretty much why I don't have cable or listen to radio. Not that I have anything against people from other ethnicities, just don't like having mine portrayed as a ball-less b!tch.

The only problem with this theory is that any hip hop club I've been to was FILLED to the rim with wanna-be ballas thugged out, acting hard, and assuming the position against the wall.

you have:
Rock (metallica, ac/dc, pantera)
Angst-Rock (linkin park, 3-doors down, radiohead)
Pop (boy bands)
Angst-Pop (i dunno, like heart break songs)
Hip-hop
Rap
R&B
Angst-Rap (eminem... although not too much AFC here, more the I hate b.itches frame... but look at his relationship... this guy is awesome but his wife's a dumb s.lut)
Rave/Trance (neutral lyrics... you'd say anything if you're tripping out)

Out of all of these, the one that doesn't have a tendency to be AFC is hip-hop, rap and rock. I love Linkin Park, and the Meteora album was a summary of my relationship. But when you're single, that's not the thing to listen to.

Hip-hop, rap, and rock are great to get pumped up to and feel like you're on top of the world, and can kick anyone's a.ss. Hip-hop and rap are dominated by black artists, so we assume that white people are all AFC's. Except for ROCK STARS. Rock is dominated by white artists. Sometimes there's some AFC-ness in there, but not as much when you compare it to all the other types of music.

so it's not really a culture thing, just the type of music that represents the culture. i know a lot of people that break the stereotypes, regardless of color, height, etc. (white pimps, and black afc's, etc.)
