"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I always forget everyone elses birthdays, then get annoyed because mine is near christmas and I hate buying people crap they probably don't want and really hate getting **** like Simpsons fridge-magnets or some book I don't want to read rather than one I might choose, booze or better yet cold hard cash.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy doing nice things for people, just at a time of my choosing, not some prescribed 'happy-day' that inevitably causes more stress than pleasure.

Christmas mostly sucks too. I'm curious if anyone here loves anniversaries or gets a woody over wrapping presents and picking out a card? I think I'd rather opt out of the whole deal and leave it to the women and kids.

Also, I just realised I've been saying I was 38 all year and I'm only 37. Alzheimer's, cool.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I used to think me forgetting anniversaries, birthdays (including mine) and all that other bullsh!t was just me being an ass or whatever, but then I accepted I'm a man.

Just do what I do mate and file all that sh!t under " chick stuff " for someone who actually gives a crap about all the hoo haa, chicks dig all that bollocks and most normal guys dont care I've found, I've been happier ever since, its a win win.

As if forgetting birthdays etc has anything to do with being a man! What a joke! I forget birthdays and anniversaries too, but that's because I'm self absorbed and they don't mean anything to me, not because of my gender.

You try way too hard to act like a "man"...or what you think a man should be. Maybe if you try hard enough you'll convince yourself one day.

imo has nothing to do with chick stuff - just with smart (+ruthless) businessmen. it's just that females are easier prey.

If I needed any more confirmation that you're a freakin joke, this has gotta be it.

Maybe it's not so much about you being a man, but the onset of alzheimer's? Or perhaps you just don't have the mental capacity to remember dates. Or maybe you really are just an ass.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Birthdays, anniversaries and the likes are dates to remember. I don't really enjoy spending my money on things like that, i'd much rather be boozing it up, but i'm sure as hell not a tight ass.

It's one thing to forget and not really worry, it's another thing to avoid it for the sake of being inconsiderate.

I still like to think having manners and being a generally decent person still holds value in society today.

lol what a backlash, was that too much for you ? does this mean were breaking up?

" WHAT!!! he doesnt care about birthdays???? Man that cat is nuts. "

I know I'm RUTHLESS and zany for having that opinion but dont take it too much to heart man, if your a "Hey baby good morning, its been 3 weeks to the day we met" kind of man then more power to you.

He meant it as - he didn't remember the birthdays etc, and felt bad for it, but now, he just faces that it isn't important to him, and him not remembering does not affect his manhood.

Perhaps no mental capacity to remember dates? How about not giving a fvck?
