Biker Gang Gender Dynamics

I made some new friends who are in a local motorcycle club. They are really more of a club than a gang, but I think the gender roles are similar.

It is a men-only club. Women are not allowed to attend meetings. Women can never be members; they can only be property of members. That is advertised on their shirts that say 'property of' xyz MC Club; they are the 'old ladies' of the members. All OL are required to always show respect to members.

Those rules would make any feminist's head explode, but all of the OL I have met seem very happy with it. I have heard them make fun of a lot of the non-member guys they know as being not able to stand up to their wife. They are like the opposite of feminists.

OL' ladies

1. Don't fvck around with brother's OL' lady. (Probably an Ass Kicking and kick-out from club).

2. Property patches will be brought up before all patch holders for input. Majority vote from all eligible patch holders is required.

3. Members are responsible for their OL' ladies.

4. Members may have more than one (1) OL ' lady.

5. Members must state who his OL ' lady is.

6. Members may not discuss club business with their OL' lady.

7. No OL' ladies allowed at meetings.

8. OL' ladies are allowed unescorted at clubhouse only by prior arrangement by OL' man.

9. Property patch is worn optional on an OL ' lady. So if you see a chick you better ask before you leap.

I like many of those rules. That's just more the way it use to be and how it should be.

I think that's a big part of why I haven't had any relationships really work for long. I can't find a woman willing to accept my rules like these Old Ladies do the bikers'. I guess you have to find a woman willing to accept her proper place. I have a more clean cut persona and appearance so I probably attract women who want their man to become an average beta. Whereas the bikers have an appearance and persona that advertises for a woman who is willing to accept that gender dynamic.

I met a lot of bikers in 2012 when I was working as a bartender at a bar they frequent. You are right, most of them are not gangsters and are good people, but that doesn't mean they should be under estimated. A few didn't like my law enforcement background at first but once they got to know me they changed their minds. I had a couple of them ask me if I wanted my ex "taken care of", and to what level. I said "Thanks but no thanks, I prefer her alive and well so I can get a laugh and some entertainment out of her miserable existence once in a while".

I go riding with a number of people I've met but I wouldn't say we're even a club. Nothing quite that formal at all really. But I'm glad to hear it's working out for you.

I find the term Ol' Lady repugnant, but that aside that's excellent policy.

Serves to keep betas out of the club.

I guess I'm in the minority here but yuck. I'd never want to spend quality time with anyone I think is inferior to me or, worse, with anyone who thinks they are inferior to me.

So I guess I'll miss out on fat ugly chicks with 80s hair and cesarean scars. Whoe is me.

Also, as an aside, as someone who has some experiences with 1%ers, they are mostly dirtbags who never grew up and need a crew and a knife to be tough. Calling them "gangsters" is actually being generous and an insult to real gangsters who at least have some organization to their mayhem. 1%ers are 60 year old Bloods and Crips.

This is not to demean bikers at all. Most (99%) are good people.
