"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Hey fellas. I'm with this girl, I've been with her for 3 months now. I like her. I dunno, maybe I'm afc, but I care for this girl.
Maybe I should grow some balls? I dunno right now.

The thing is. Her brother told me once to stay away from her or there would be huge problems.
Today her brother saw her with me, walking outside. He stopped the car and got out, his temper was out of control. He almost wanted to fight me, but something stopped him. I just stood there calmly and didn't show no reactions to fear.

The thing is, I kinda respect him, because he is her brother and don't want her to be with guys. Now this girl is 18 years old and it's not againgst her religion to be with guys.
It's probably just because her brother can't stand the picture of her having sex with guys. I dunno? But the previous time he met me he asked what we had done.. i responded nothing, just kisses.

Today he called me, i missed the call and then called back.
This is how the conversation went..
Me: hey you called
Him: yeah where are you i wanna meet you
Me: listen to me, whats your problem with me? is it because the rumours you've heard or she isn't allowed to have a boyfriend?
Him: listen, don't cause any trouble, just stay away from her
Me: the thing is, i like your sister
Him: dont tell me that, it just makes me upset
Me: ok well im off to work, peace
Him: call me later, i wanna meet you and talk to you about this

I didn't call him because I wanted his sister to talk to him first, so he'll probably call me tomorrow, after his sister has spoken to him.. but I don't think it will change his picture of the whole thing.

Now I need to know.. what would you guys do in this situation? What is a DJ expected to do here? seriously? I need advice bad for this one..

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

First off i have had this talk from a couple of older brothers of ex girlfriends of mine so i know the situation your in. I also have an 18yr old sister who i am a little protective off (not to the extent of the guy your refering to) so i can see where he is coming from also.

Go and talk to her bro in person just the 2 of you (it shows him your not a ***** or scared of him) and explain to him that you actually care about his sister and your not just out to fu(k her and then dump her. Show him that your a good guy and the kind of guy that is worthy (in his eyes) of dating his sister. Let him know that you understand why he is trying to protect his little sister but she is old enough to make her own decisions about who she dates. If you show him respect you are more than likley going to get it back, he is probably worried that his sister is going to end up with dumb ass who will break her heart. Once you prove your not that guy you and him might even get along and be friends.

Yeah I was thinking of saying that to him today. But the second I met him, he hit me in the head a couple of times. I didn't hit back because I thought it would end up in a f*cking catastrophy in the long run. So I let him punch my face a couple of times, I had to get 2 stiches in the inside of my upper lip at the hospital. And I told him that I wouldn't see his sister anymore.

F*ck! this is all a f*cking mess.

This guy cannot reason. He isn't even listening to what I have to say. And he will want to fight with me another time probably if I see him drunk downtown some weekend or something.

What would you MEN do now? advice pls.

EDIT: He also told me that he wanted to kill me, and that he wanted to bring a baseball bat to our "meeting".

And he got the impression that I was afraid of him.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

Tell him you'll take that bat and stick it up his azz and turn him into a popcicle. This guy sounds like a punk. Do not be intimidated. Tell him you like and treat his sister good and if he can't deal with it, then you'll do whatever is necessary to keep him off your back - and that includes a first class ass-beating or (if you feel you can't take him) a restraining order.

Hmm sure, I can beat him in a man to man fight. But if he brings bats/knives/guns I'm not so sure if I can beat him with my bare hands. Or if they come 4-5 guys againgst me alone. This guy seems to have some brain damage. You can't talk to him and reason with him, he loses his temper in no time.

Anyone else got other advice?

This guy is obviously troubled...

The feeling I get is that he probably will NEVER let any guy get with his sister, no matter who he is. I'd tell your girl that her bro is gonna be a real problem, if she ever wants to go out with guys, and that SHE should say/do something about it. She's old enough to do what she wants, and he has absolutley no right to do or say anything to the contrary.

You won't be able to reason with guys like this. They don't use logic, so trying to instill some in him won't work. A good beating would, though...... at least you'd show him you're not afraid of him. If you think he'd try and kill you or some sh!t then he is obviously in need of real phsycolgical help and I would just back away. Why would you want to be with a girl who has a brother like this? It'll never go smoothly, ever. Just get out of it.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Heres what I would do. I would go see the sister immediately, show her all the wounds that you acquired defending her and your love for her.

Get her to care for your cuts & bruises, make your moves on her as normal.

After your done, leave, call her brother and tell him thanks for his help getting his sister to look after all cuts, bruises among other things.

Go there and beat him up like a man
Under normal circumstances, I'd agree with this... but if this guy is as unstable as he appears, I would just turn around and walk away. Chances are that beating him once won't end it... he'll probably show up the next time with a knife or a gun and then you've got some real problems.

It all depends on what kinda vibe this guy gives off. Is he just over-protective or is he plain fvcking nuts?

plus, a friend of mine told me that he is doing coke.

EDIT: how is fighting a guy who is high on coke? more info: the people he hangs with are also using cocaine.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

welcome to my world
never been in such a situation

...but i think i can relate with the brother.

i am similarly very overprotective of my sister, and even when she's had guy friends come over the house just for birthday parties, i still feel a bit suspicious of them and whatnot.

come on, who ever has a little sister is usually a bit overprotective.

ever seen bad boysII with will smith, and they practically scare to death martin lawrence's daughter's date for the night. funny scene, but a lot critics thought it was disturbing and overdone.

i didn't think so.

so...if my little sister was dating some guy...i would appreciate it if they guy came and had a talk with me. you should do something nice for the guy...watch a football game with him or something

why is there always so much violence advocated on this board, i don't know. most people who really know how to fight, avoid fights as much as possible, because sometimes they're afraid of they're own immeasurable strength. i am not a big dude...pretty skinny actually, but in fights, i usually go wild and that's why i avoid them, because i know if i was pushed enough, i might just kill someone. avoid violence man, that's the stupid route.

so, yeah, try to be friends with the brother.

btw, do they come from an american family? if they are middle-eastern or greek or italian, then i definitely understand. still though, try that out man. genuinely see why this guy is so upset...get some rational response from him.

i know that once my sis is off to college next fall, i won't be able to watch over her like i can now, so she's bound to start dating and stuff. it's just, as an older brother, and especially in a country like this where just the other day some 18yr old dude shoots his 14yr-old gf's parents for her curfew(?!), and rapists/murderers/kidnappers all over the place...of course we have reason to be concerned. especially if she has a lot going for her. and even more so especially for me, because a few of my relatives have been shot and killed, so being extra cautious is never bad.

get the back story. try to see where this guy is coming from. by being violent, you will only make him more protective. you'll prove him right. i don't think any real man would do that.

good luck

h2o, there is no way this can ever happen.
I told you it is impossible to reason with this guy if you are on his wrong foot. I dunno how the hell he is thinking.

sorry rapsta i didn't get to help you in time

from your first post i knew he was going to attack you

thats what he was planning with "we have to meet"

he had premeditated attacking you

i was going to tell you not to meet him

you are lucky he didn't have 5 friends with him

i was expecting him to bring 5 friends

so you got off lightly

NOW WHERE YOU F*CKED UP :

In the beginning it's about respect

dumb coked out animals learn respect only one way

FEAR / VIOLENCE

you should have challenged him from the start

as soon as he said you cant see her

i would have told him i will do as i please

then if he had come at me i would have given him a decent beating

taken him to the ground to control him and stop any real punches

and beaten and twisted him until he screamed for mercy

no brusies no blood no marks for police to see

a mans pride can handle being punched

to humble a man all you have to do is pin him in such a way that he is powerless and let him know you hold his life in your hands

few punches to the stomach ( no bruises ) with a free hand to let him know that you could be punching his b*tch head if you didn't think he would run to the cops

he cannot be talked down or reasoned with

its not the coke

its him

violence you must break him

the idiot thinks he is a bully and you some little weak kid that he can push around

why ?

becaue you let him think that now the problem is out of control

there is a line and no b*tch is worth getting killed over but i think some pain is in order to correct his thinking

STOP MEETING PEOPLE

any time of of your enemies says they want to meet you its a trap

so many dumb mutha f*ckers on this board some guy says meet me at party they turn up and the dude is on coke holding a knife

STOP WALKING INTO TRAPS

YOU chose the time and place of battle

personally i would conduct other operations against him

he is weak minded so i would SCARE HIM

the old jump out from bushes when he is getting into his car

you are wearing a balaclava and holding a tomahawk/hammer

act crazy

if all else fails dump the chick or get your friends to beat him up

Sup LIT, this is about the same girl we spoke on msn about.

1. he wouldn't report me to the police if i beat him up, he would rather come back with some friends to knife me or bat me down or maybe shoot me, i dunno. he knows where i live.

2. i'll talk to the girl tomorrow and tell her that this whole thing is never gonna work out, and that i'lll stop seeing her.

3. he will probably (most likely) want to beat me again if he sees me downtown on a saturday night out when he is drunk. this time i will beat the **** out of him not concerning the circumstances. i will get me some sap gloves in case he pulls a knife or a bat, otherwise i will use only my fists.

more info:
*we live in the same town, its a very small town here in sweden
*he is 24 years old so yes it would be immature of him to attack me again if we meet, but he will do it because it will trigger anger in his mind when he sees me

what do u think about all this?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
