"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Just kicked my gf out of our hotel room...had an otherwise great weekend together until she started s huge argument over a small scracth on her leg caused by the jagged edge og a button on my jacket when I reached down near her leg in store to pick something up...she made a huge deal out of it even after I said sorry saying sorry cant fox the pain..I told her to grow up and we argued and made up...but later she said I wad weak for getting nauseous at a night market here because there were too many people and I wad pissed and asked her did she really just call me weak...she said yes and that everyone is weak sometimes....I told her to get the hell out of our hotel room and go home home she put on her cloyhes and left without saying anything......did I go too far? She really pissed me off with this.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Anytime a girl starts a big argument over something small, it's usually an indication that either her interest is lowering, or something else is bothering her but won't say what it is, so she starts a fight over something else instead. Either way, while I don't necessarily agree with the language used to dismiss her (i.e. telling her to get the hell out, telling her to grow up - it sounds a tad bit emotional and AFC-ish), I DO agree with sending her home. Girlfriend or not, disrespect is disrespect. If she can't respect you, she doesn't need to continue staying in a hotel that YOU are paying for - she can be mad at you at her place!

Not really my style. Never show her you are mad. Defuse arguments with humor or worst case walk away. Don't let them think they got to you.

Your subconscious told you the relationship was over and you acted like it. She doesn't respect you, its over.

Well, it's not over unless i want to be...meaning i could call her and be hanging out once again next weekend like nothing has ever happened...however, her disrespecting me like that is too much to bare and i feel like it is on a downslide if i take her back...it sucks because i don't really even care about the sex...i just hate losing my best friend...i am in Asia right now and can get sex easily...the best friend part and confident is the part that is so difficult to replace...think my problem is i was viewing her too much as a friend and let her in too much and was overconfident while showing her flaws.....in the end i guess a woman is a just a woman...programmed to find the strongest by nature...oh well, i have a pretty hot Phillipina chick DTF and another Indonesian chick DTF...damn but i will miss my friend, though...sucks. Banging girls you don't care about loses its luster after a while. And to the poster who mentioned it was my hotel room because i paid for it, we paid half and half....i never pay for everything unless it's a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary, ect.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

If you paid half and half, yes you did over-react.

If she's insulting you, then respond. But like renegade said, if its emotional girly stuff because they are bored and want some drama, walk away, diffuse with humour, or agree and amplify.

Reminds me a Friends episode when Aniston was yelling at a guy for some stuff and he was like "Are you hungry? I'm hungry, lets get something to eat, you can keep yelling if you like." She was so turned on she ended giving him sex at the end.

Well, the thing is, she was scheduled to leave 2 hours later anyways because she had work early the next morning...i pretty much diffused it with humor.....but then she brought the night market thing up and called me weak...the calling me weak part was just too much to stomach IMO...no woman should go there without any reprecussions. Especially considering this all started over what was essentially a paper cut on one of her thighs caused by the jagged edge of my jacket.

This forum is hilarious, everytime a couple has an argument the 'the relationship is finished line' comes out and so does the 'she doesn't respect you' and 'you should go NC on her', you can tell most guys on here have no clue about LTR's for all their knowledge of slamming random women.

If you are constantly having petty arguments, then you have a problem. If this is a once in a bluemoon occurrence then don't sweat it. Just let the steam and red mist pass and then pick up from where you left off.

This is the type of dumb sh1t that confuses the hell out of new members or people looking for advice. Saying never show youre mad at her is the most afc and crooked advice ever. Yes, in many circumstances particularly with women who you are just FB with, there's almost no point in showing anger or emotions in general because there's no emotional or very little emotional attachment. If she starts to act like a gf or nagging wife then just next her but things change when you're in a committed relationship. No man can survive years and years with a woman without getting angry and showing it now and again. Im not saying being dramatic and start cutting yourself while writing her love letters but we're all human and we as humans need to display some basic fvcking emotions now and again.

Im thinking that users here who constantly dish out unrealistic and stupid advice have never had a gf or gotten laid by anything decent. Advice like nc your ex wife who is a mother to your children immediately, don't show women any emotions because that's a weakness, only talk to a woman x number of days after meeting them no matter what, cut the date short to keep interest no matter what etc all these fixed patterns just make us into robots. I understand much of it is to provide afc's with a template or foundation but still much of it is bs.

One of my favourite lines is 'bro she disrespected you' after anything goes astray from original plans.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

You hit the nail on the head with this....talked to her today and it turns out i was overreacting...we both were...she got upset because it reminded her of last year.....last year i was pretty immature acting and treated her like crap while she treated me like a king...model gf...anyways, don't want to get into details to make myself look so bad, but it brought back old emotions in her and she said she couldn't control herself feeling like that again like i don't care about her enough.....i am constantly fighting my past with her because i was so selfish during the first half of our relationship..and about the weak comment...there is a slight language barrier because she speaks mostly Chinese and not good English...she meant my weakness is crowded areas and wasn't saying i was weak in general...it is hard to understand her sometimes when she is emotional and talking really fast in broken English....so it's all good....i thought it was strange because she was in tears when she left the room and just the night before she was telling me she has never felt anyway with anyone else that she feels with me and our sex is amazing and said she wants to do dirtier things with me than she ever has before...so overeaction on both our parts.....

and to someone that is not only your gf but your best friend of almost three years, you can't hide all of your emotions...that is just disfunctional and makes for an unhealthy relationship...
