The following story is 100% true. My best friend is dating this bi curious girl we will call her Maria. We have know this girl for well over a decade. They have had an on and off relationship. Apparently the girl is flakey, and weird and unpredictable. This threw Maria for a loop. Her whole life she had been the one being pursued. Now she is seeing how difficult it is when you are the one doing the pursuing. A few months ago she called my friend and apologized. She also called many of the guys in her past and apologized. She never know how hurtful it was to pursue a person who doesnt care about your feelings. She never know how cruel it was to play games with people. Maria told my friend that she didnt know how difficult men had it. I dont think she ever ended up getting the girl she wanted to hook up with.

What we are witnessing is America is a lack of perspective and being spoiled for choice. Attractive American women are worshiped constantly. They are pursued constantly. Why would they ever develop good character traits. One develops empathy from having experienced pain and deprivation. But they have never had any pain or deprivation in the dating market. So how can they ever know how it feels to a male? Why would they treat you with any sympathy. They have no idea what you are going through.

Doesn't surprise me at all. The last thing most women think about is a man's perspective, even the idea of doing so wouldn't occur to them. If you suggested it then like I said, most of them will either raise an eyebrow at you like you're insulting them or talking about something stupid or they'll laugh at it, depending on which side of the "princess diva" and "attention *****" they're closest to.

Try it yourself, ask a girl when the last time was that she considered a man's perspective. You'll just get a stunned blank look.

Women tend to charactarise "men" as the 5% of men they struggle to date. e.g. the millionaires and sports stars they feel entitled to but can't get them to ask them out, or just end up being used by them for sex.

So they think men have it just fine, because my old boss wouldn't leave his wife for me, or this mega rich dude wouldn't be my BF just booty call.

I've had one particular fruitcake HB10 lead me on a crazy run and that was not pleasant. I could have killed myself when I realised she was enjoying the game of leading me on. She then told most of my friends I was some creep who couldn't take rejection, was obsessive etc. Despite the fact she was always intiating contact and leading it forward only to crush me.

Women seem to really dig it, they like men persuing them and don't realise what pain not being straight causes. They think the world is as abundant for us as it is for them.

I don't think they care very much even in the rare occasions when they do realize they've caused pain because the sheer quantity of effortless validation they get, no matter their behavior, desensitizes them from viewing men as individuals with a face. The social dynamic you're in changes your behavior. See a dead body once, it might shock you. See 1000s of them as part of your job, it'll become a detached routine.
