Football, Successful... yes and no. I won about 85% of my picks this past season college and pro. I don't bet what I can't afford to lose though and only in small amounts so Its not like I'm a professional or making a living.

I use two compaines
xpressbet.com and twinspires.com
although I use xpressbet like 10x more than twinspires, just out of comfort level although twinspires has it's track feeds at least some of them in HD which i can't say for xpressbet.
Santa Anita (home track) has an xpressbet window and i can fund/pull out money at the window just like i'm at the bank. it also comes in handy when i'm at the track i can make bets on xpressbet on my iphone and not have wait in line.

there is no "say" to it. every dime i spent the last 2 years has come from the track. the rest goes into the bank and I live quite nicely
Seriously... it's taken me about 7 years to get where I am now and not just 7 years, 7 years of putting in about as much as if I were going to med school.
I'm successful becuase I generally know more than the people I bet against.
and unlike poker or sports, i am taking money from you not the track, so no i wouldn't teach you anything.
you bet 2 dollars.. santa anita gets 40 cents of that, the rest goes into a pool and whoever wins wins. track could care less who wins. pari mutual wagering.
