Best way to use $1000? Ideas wanted

Hey guys

Made it good in the stock market over the weekend and I have 1000 bucks to throw around. Lucky me eh? The thing is, I don't want to waste it or buy dumb **** with it. Basically I don't want it to turn into beer money.

In short I need some ideas on how to either a)spend it effectively, b)re-invest it or c)save it.

What are some very good ways to use $1000 dollars?

If I had a grand, I'd save it until I have 5 grand and then get me a supercharger. There isn't enough you can make with a grand, unless you wanted to buy something, and I don't mean party it away.

If you only have a small amount - $1000, these things have a good ability to appriciate in value or hold their value.

$1000 isn't alot i'd probably bank $300, use $500 back in the stock market and try to make some more and spend $200 on yourself.

I'd say spend half, treat yourself, and re-invest the rest.

1k, bonds, what is the current IR in your country? You will probably make $50 from it in the next year. That is NOTHING, your young, enjoy yourself. You will have plenty more money to invest and save later on.

I'd spend it on my car, because I'm a racer. For 1 grand you can get into cart racing. Or mod your ride for autox. That's my oneitis, I spend money on this all the time.

Cars depriciate when you buy them, drive them, trade them. Racing cars do not depreciate, they make money. If you could measure the adrenaline rush, you'd be spending a lot of money on cocaine. Eventually they get restored, rebuilt, and sold for more money to people who appreciate real rides.
