"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Hey guys,

Never been to a "real" party before so I want to try one out. Fortunately enough for me, a friend of mine gave me a link to a party site for my university where people tell where parties are and stuff. Problem is they rarely tell where it is and stuff and if they do then it seems like a private party. What's a good way to do this? I feel a little nervous meeting these people as they are probably really outgoing and I'm not used to it yet. I'm trying to break out of my AFC habit of being shy all the time. Thanks for any advice.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Drink a bit before you go, and wait until about midnight before you check it out - that'll give them enough time to have been drinking for some time, at which stage they won't care if you're the lifelong best friend of the party host or some random person nobody knows (which would be more accurate :p). You might also want to keep an eye out for keg parties; these are usually larger and have less people attending who know each other... after a few parties your nervousness about barging in on them should be diminished if not gone completely. Just my .02

OK thanks. But I mean if I have to drive there then wouldn't that be drinking and driving? LOL. I don't want to do that. Also, I think the main reason for my shyness is that I just don't know what to talk about at first with other people. I can do the usual hey how are you and so on but I can never seem to go past that with anyone. Guess I should just stick with asking about other peoples' jobs, majors, etc. right?

"Hey, haven't I seen you somewhere before? What's your name?"

That's really the only phrase you need to know at the party, you can even do without it, just come up and start talking about how great the party is or how some guy puked in the corner.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Depends on what kind of scene you're interested in. Giant keg parties, Frat parties, art parties, specific music scene parties, smaller social circle house parties, afterhours parties?

The best way is to meet people in your university and ask them where the party is that weekend or get invited to parties. Of course, it seems like you feel that parties are your means to meeting people. That's not a helpful belief and you're already building the party scene up too much in your mind. You can meet people anywhere.

Now, I agree that it feels more natural to meet strangers at social events than on the street or in class. But social events encompass more than just parties. There's plenty of social type events at universities. I'm thinking, clubs, organizations, etc. Meet people there and then tap into the party scene.

Sometimes people flier for parties on bulletin boards, common areas, coffee shops, clubs, down town, randomly hand out shyt on campus, whereever. Online is alright but usually big ass keg parties aren't posted online. A lot of music and art events ARE posted online. That's how I got into the rave scene. You go to a music show or rave or whatever, meet people and then get invited to the parties. There's also plenty of online communities revolving around local art and music if that's what you dig. Meet people online and then organize a flesh meet at the next event.

Where do you live in College? Dorms are great places to meet people. There's usually people fvcking around in their rooms quite a bit and the common areas have folks coming, going, hanging out all the time.

If you live off campus in a student ghetto area, meet your neighbors. It's the neighborly think to do. Plus, there's bound to be parties in student neighborhoods. You can just wander up in the large ones without folks saying shyt.

NEVER host a party. Don't even do it if you are a loser and want friends. People you don't know will show up and ejaculate on your crap. They will pretend to be your friend just to have something to do. It causes drama and turns otherwise good girls into *****s who need to be quarantined/euthanized (to prevent the spread of STD's).

You're kinda hanged up on the whole "party" concept.

What do you think the real party gonna give you? What's it like?

A hangover!!!

Actually, it sounds to me like the guy wants to use the party as a chance to increase his social network and begin developing new friends... or even to just 'have fun'. Just like I'll be having in New Orleans for Mardi Gras tomorrow, the next day, and the day after.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
