"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

can't believe this. my best friend I've known for 18 years was screwing my g/f. my other friend told me and at first I thought it was total bs. but later that week I went to my best friend's house and peaked in through the window and sure enough, they were screwing. i cant even describe what I was feeling. her car was always at his house, which i thought was pretty strange considering she told me she was hanging with her g/fs. what I find even more strange is why they didn't attempt to hide it better. anway, it doesn't matter. I'm beyond pissed... waaaay beyond. they can both go to hell. see ya later guys. off to egg my girlfriend's car and tell my best friend to **** off and never talk to me again.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

the thing is, neither of them know I know yet.

somebody's gonna die.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

That's massively juvenile. The least you could do would be to visit Wal-Mart, buy a pack of deer urine from the sporting goods section and pour it in the air intake grille near the base of her windshield - the smell will never, ever go away. May as well buy 2 packs while you're at it.

Try to hold restraint in this situation. I know this whole situation is messing with you emotions. Sit down and relax for a second. Is it really worth it to stoop to his level? I have never had this happen to me before, but I've had conflicts with best friends before with other stuff. It is best to assertively say he just lost you as a friend and move on. Don't dwell on what happened. Don't hang out with him or her again. Just move on. It will be for the better. Also find other women to date and don't look back.

Please don't do anything you'll regret later

I am assuming that you, like myself, are not a criminal and cannot afford a criminal record. A good number of murders that occur in North America are crimes of passion provoked by situations much like yours. A few moments of rage can change the path of your life forever.

The best thing to do would be just to confront them seperately.

Get straight to the point, and sever all ties as neatly as possible.

Don't try to guilt them or make them feel bad. They won't, and you'll just feel more miserable for wasting the energy and effort.

They are clearly pieces of ****e and don't deserve any further consideration.

I used to have a training partner that works as an enforcer (thug) for a local gang boss. He CAN, and DOES, get away with random acts of violence, because he has nothing to lose. He is living off the grid, has been to jail, and living on impulse is one of the few luxuries he has.

According to him, when he discovered one day that one of his friends was sleeping with his EX-girlfriend, he got a few guys together, kidnapped the "friend" from his own house, threw him into the trunk of his car, and brought him to the woods. They tied him up in a canvas sack and beat him (carefully), and left him in the forest tied to a tree until the next day.

Bro's before Ho's.

I'm actually angry hearing your story.

I've had a couple of dozen girlfriends in the past ten years, but only one best friend. I love my girlfriend, but I told her early on that if she's got a problem with my best friend, then we should end it right away, because it's not even a choice for me.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Not to derail the thread, but isn't that like the guy in Terminator 3? I think your friend is dillusional - no robots from the future are going to try to travel back in time to kill him before he can lead the humans to victory in a fight against the machines. Craziness.

Revenge? Are you nuts? This is perfect, it gives you a green light to sarge other chicks.

Take a deep breath, accept your mate had better game than you for whatever reason, embrace it.

Step 2 for the love of god KEEP FVCKING HER, act like nothing has happened. When and if she turns around and tells you about it you can without acting surprised or even caring for that matter tell her "Yeah I know its cool, actually you 2 do make a good couple. Lets leave on a good note eh? And you keep in touch babe" The look on her face will be priceless and your nonchalant attitude to it all, combined with the fact youve been boning her the whole time. Plus the fact their sex is no longer "taboo" and hasnt been for a long time means she will probably next your mate soon enough anyway. And wonder why you dont give a sh!t.

I've never been in your situation and I dont "date" chicks anymore but still I would love to try the above out just as an experiment, give it some thought bro, be my guinea pig.

It will work trust me, it will have far greater impact than anything else your thinking up.

edit : Bahhhh I bet hes already let them know he knows.

PEOPLE OF SOSUAVE, I am your almighty monk... now pay attention.

This guy doesn't seem legit. Glycerine2 seems like a guy who just posts random drama and see if anyone is gonna help him troll. I understand more than 50% of sosuave and male race are dumbasses, but don't believe anyone what they say unless they are part of the SoSuave Elite crew, remember Black_Italian?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Wow, that's wicked!

P.s: I believe this dude is another troll. Anyway, your advice is gold and it's going to be used whenever necessary.

I'm sorry, I can't begin to imagine how you must feel.

I don't know what to tell you. Trust is the basis of a relationship, whether it be with a best friend or with a partner.

Your life has just been turned upside down. Betrayal from your best friend is probably much worse than the betrayal by your girlfriend.

I think that turning to FAMILY would be a good idea, at this point, or friends you think you can trust.

BTW, the story about my criminal former friend is NOT fictional.

Just because you don't know people like this, doesn't mean that they don't exist. Like I said, I used to train with him in NHB martial arts, and he used to kick my ass. We hung out for a couple of years, and been through some tense situations together. I've avoided him for the past couple of years because of what he's into, and because I've finally smartened up.

Great post titty man.

-007~JC
titty man, I guess it easier than figuring out how many spaces to seperate the side from the nipples...

( . ) (. ) all trolls aside, you did make some good points. I've been in a similar situation, and when I knew the truth, I was disgusted at the girl.. couldn't look her in the eyes if I wanted to.

Personally, I just drop them both out of life and out of mind.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
