Yes, dressing poorly will help get you eliminated as a target. Having enough money to drink at a bar will not.
Always remember though the easiest will for a criminal to not get ID'd for a robbery is if there is no witness. It's sadly how some of them operate.

to be fair, most criminals are trying to rob you, not murder someone. they don't want to quadruple the jail time for no reason.
Add drugs and crazy into the mix and anything can happen. Your statement is rational, some people out there are Not.
If it was an attempted bar patron hit using her as bait to lead him into the alley, it was most likely for drug $.
Cash, watch, cards, and ID. Low level stuff, but still a robbery.
They get extra time to charge on any cards taken, given the increased Credit Companies scrutiny these days, if you are incapacitated in the hospital.

Your Story sounds too good to be true.
She could be a sex worker (from her making the moves, mentionning bf, Alley mention, easy girl)
Also for a broke guy, you seems to be going out alot.
I would consider Alley sex only if she was hard to get, or I am hostel travelling. There is much better/safer place to go

I've heard stories where some dude has his chick standing outside trying to get attention from one of the drivers and sticking her thumb out like she's a hitchhiker too even.
