Ive been accused of this and it works to my advantage in keeping them confused and on their toes. Can being elusive/nonchalant actually hurt me?

No. This is probably on of the most important points to bring up on the forum. It can only work to your advantage. Unfortunately, we hear a lot of posts about 'I met this girl and she hasn't called me back..... What do I do?'
