"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Hey Guys,

I'm finally stumped. And confused about who I am. :box: (Btw, just so that we're all on the same page, I'm a 20 year old girl :woo: )

I am dominant in nature, I step up to the role of being "dominant" in various aspect of me life. However, when it comes relationship, I would like to believe that I like to be submissive.

However, my previous ex say that I'm too dominant in nature and it's hard to step up to me and tell me what to do. I think it's because he's weak.

I guess its in my nature to be dominant i'm driven and i want to be successful on my own...i dont think thats the signs of a very submissive person now if my lifelong dream was to be a librarian......

I really can't stand AFC, and the thought of a confident guy is just so darn sexy :cheer: . I don't think I can truly be happy being the dominant one in the relationship... but at the same time... by nature I'll question other people...

What do you think is my problem?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I am going to go out on a limb here and I may suggest things that might not be true, but given what your thread says this should apply. What is probably happening is that, in your dominant nature, you are controlling the interaction from the start, what I mean is, you see a cute guy and make a move on him, ask him many questions, and you can generally end up with the guy because alot of men are submissive to women, especially in a situation like that. If you want to find a guy who will be dominant you need to be more selective, don't ask all the questions, don't suggest where to go for dinner/dates, let the guy make all the decisions, and if he doesn't then you have to find a better man.

Don't worry too much, there aren't many true men out there who will take a dominant role with women, many are submissive.

I don't think being dominant really means choosing which movie to watch or where to have dinner. Being dominant means fundamentally, telling someone to do something and having them do it.

Someone said to me...

"the problem is you just "like" that... but you won't actually be submissive

if i tell you not to do something, and i don't give you a reason, you'd just say, 'f off'

heck, even if i gave you ar eason and you don't agree with it, u'd still tell me to 'f off'"

Some guys are just so confident with themselves... they feel the need for their girl to just listen without questioning... is that stupid?

You enjoy saying and pretending your dominant?

Whats the bloody question?
No, i think it's vice versa... I am dominant for sure, proven in fair too many aspect in life. I want to be submissive with him... but it seems like I just claim that i want to be submissive, but I'm actually not.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Like the Yeti, Loch Ness monster and good television in 06 theres no such thing as a "dominant" chick, maybe to other chicks but thats as far as it goes.

Like that dude already implied, you just havn't been lucky enough for a non AFC to stumble across your path yet.

Put some make up on, maybe shed a few kilos and a nice dress and you could get lucky.

My problem is not knowing whether I'm truly submissive or dominant in a relationship. :cuss:
