"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Okay, so lets say you're with friends, but not close ones or anything. Lets say one of them is like "drive me home" and is pushy. If he doesn't get a ride, he has to take the train which takes double the time.

I don't mind driving him since I had nothing else to do, but inside I felt like I was getting pushed around.

Would you give him a ride? If not, how would you have told him no without being an *******?

I'm usually a nice guy and do **** for other people, but I guess I should stop. I'm just not clever enough to say no without messing up connections.

Tips...

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Screw him, if he demands you give him a ride home and in his mind the only answer you'll give him is yes then say no. He should be polite and ask you if you wish to take time out of your day to give his ass a ride home.

If he said, "may I get a ride home?" then I'd gladly give him one, but since you made it sound like he demanded it of you, say no and give him some excuse or no excuse at all.

Some what of being a man is deciding what to do for yourself, and in some cases being able to seek help without "hurting your ego". In this case, do what you want, but take what he did into account.

I'd do it, but if he said it in that attituide id tell him that he can walk his ass home if he dosent show some goddamned respect.

And If hes one of those guys who has huge personal problems (IE Drug addiction), Do it. Just Try to help him back on his feet but make sure he dosnet use you and become lazy.

Have him pay for gas and then a little bit. Like if it takes 1.5 gallons to drive him home(total out of your way distance) that would be like 3.50 in gas, well make him pay like 5 or 6 bucks and if he doesnt want to then its his fault.

Well, he asked nicely and said "hey name, can you gimme a ride?" but I said..."haha idk" and he was like "well you aren't doing anything" and after that was like "lets go"

I don't mind it at all...he lent me money.

But I just need to know when its the right time to deny someone and when its the right time to accept. If its someone I like, I usually offer. My friend the other day asked if anyone could lend him money for lunch and I did. We always chill though and I'm always at his house. It was weird though because he was hesitant of accepting it, w/ev. I told him he doesn't have to worry about paying me back either. He's bought me stuff many times.

But for people who I don't know too well...?

This kid I know charges people for everything. I'm decent friends and he gets on my ass if I don't pay him money he lent me. He charges people for gas when he drives them to school. Is this the right thing to do?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
