"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Hello Guys,

I just wanted some advice on what you professionals have in store for a bit of a dilemma I have … (dilemma is a bit too extreme I guess).

Like most high schoolers I have this liking for a girl in my class. I’m not one of those flirts who just goes up to a nice looking girl and asks her out.
I spoke with her on MSN a few times, and then eventually it lead to talking in school.

I feel the girl might be interested in me as she is quite shy and doesn’t greet any of the boys … but she does greet me. I have to initiate most of the times though, on days that I don’t. She’s like lol, what happened did I do something wrong? (On MSN).

Two of my friends know about this, and one of them is like go ahead and tell her that you like her, before someone else gets her. And he says so, because a few people have been checking her out and asking if she’s single.

A second friend whom I allowed to read a few of my MSN conversations with her. Is like , I think she likes you and you guys click. Talk with her more in class, become ‘close’ but don’t tell her “I like you” or something …. Its just to understand, you don’t have to actually say it.

So I wanted to know what do you guys think? Should I tell her or not?

The girl is pretty shy, so I thought if I told her I liked her, she would open up more? Also, I know its lame to ask … but how do I go about telling her? I just walk up and say, I like you? :p

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Ask her out, and click on the DJ Bible link as it will help you. This question is asked and re asked, and the consensual answer is to go and ask her out on a date. PM me if you want more help on this.

Ok man, sounds like you've been gettin by pretty smoothly with this chick, but make sure you got the right mindset otherwise your bound to fvck up.

Here is what you should keep in mind:

She digs you, because you are awsome. Not the otherway around.

When you talk to her, she is entering YOUR world, not hers.

NEVER admit to liking her.

Remember to keep your options open, don't risk catching oneitis!

Mess with her, keep her on her toes, never give her a dull moment.

To prevent yourself from becoming over infatuated with this girl, find a flaw in her and focus on it, then make her jump through hoops to prove that she can overcome this flaw.

Remember, your attention is EXTREMELY valuable, make her earn it.

Don't forget to social proof! Keep things stirred and let her see just how social and studly you are.

And no matter what, do not compromise your dignity by doing over the top favors or getting her stuff, treating her like she's special. Trust me, she's not. What she has, any other girl has as well.

And as a final side note, i would like to see a copy of one of your MSN convos. Please PM me a copy, and i will tell ya what i think of it.

True Wolf,

Thanks for your views. I guess, I've been following most of them until now ... but I guess I've already caught oneitis :).

Regarding seeing the MSN conversations, unfortunately I don't save them. And I disable that MSN log thing.
Last time, my friend had come over when I was talking with her, that's where he read what we spoke.

On a sidenote, how many times in a week, should I speak with her? I guess overdoing will give her too much already, then when we meet there won't be much to talk about. I do t about 2 -3 times a week, is this fine?

If I never admit I like her, how will she think more seriously of me? There are a few other people in my class who don't think twice of doing it ... so if one of them goes ahead and does it, I don't want to be cursing myself for not going first.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
