just the other day, i had a letter pinned on my door that my apartment and everyone else is getting bug traps set up to see if we have an infestation. a week ago i noticed a couple of small little bumps which looked like a couple of mosquito's bites and thought nothing of it because when you have a allergic reaction to such things as simple as laundry detergent, i thought nothing of it. but when my kid and wife had the same bumps too something was up.
then we got the note on the door and i am kinda grossed out. i am not pointing the finger at people but this is an immigrant building which i chose because most people that come from other countries are nice and keep to themselves and don't complain. but we do have tenants who go with the saying of "one man's trash is another man's treasure" and you see them going through the dumpster salvaging anything from furniture to electronics, etc.
the unfortunate thing about that is....what they bring into their apartment might be infested with these vile creatures. the sad thing is that they don't just stay in one place...they move from apartment to apartment and i think they invaded mine too. i looked for the little beasts today and haven't found any yet but from looking up information on these pests...they are hard to get rid of.
i am glad i live in canada because yesterday i played videogames with all the windows open and it was freezing in here. it's said they die at temperatures of 32f or 0 and this place was colder than that. but they probably migrated into someone elses warm place.
anyone else ever deal with this sort of thing? i don't care if i have a signed lease cause i will break it and move somewhere else if we have those little beasts. i'll just move all my stuff into a storage room and the canadian cold will freeze them to death.
