Anyone know how to improve on this?

one example is when you are with friends and everyone is making jokes on one another. sometimes i get great jokes, only its past the point of using them. any suggestions?

start going to local comedy clubs and watch live standup. also just spend more time in social situations and groups that are different than your norm.
