I'm going to Myrtle Beach pretty soon before the summer ends. What are some tips for picking up girls around the beach? Are there any specific things you can do in that environment to help your chances, or is it the same as picking up girls anywhere else? I'm not a tourist or anything; I only live about an hour from the beach.

Ball sports are a great opportunity to "accidentally" toss one in someone's direction. An apology leading smoothly into a comment about something a person is wearing or doing would work nicely.

I notice people don't really like to talk much at the beach (too hot?) Get the number and split. The other good news is that there are many opportunities for insta-dates - i dunno, splashing women with water, playing ball sports (we need an extra player...). These are just thoughts off the top of my head, but good luck bro.
