I used to visit this site A LONG time ago, a good year or so ago. Come to think of it I don't even know what my user name was. Anyways, I have been dating my girlfriend for 8 months now. And the biggest thing in any relationship or getting a girlfriend is being yourself. I have seen so many guys go out of self to get a girl to like them and when they date, everything falls apart because the girl finds out their true self. This can also apply to friendships, I have seen guys listening to music such as Mudvayne and Slipknot and get asked by a guy/girl what they are listening to and say something like Lil Flip or Mike Jones. Remember, just because school is starting again does not give you the ability to be something you are not. Do not ask people what they think of your clothes, you wear them because you like them. I have seen people dress one way the first day of school, and dress TOTALLY different the next. Be yourself, and have fun!

I agree with you.

I cant believe a guy would lie about the music he likes. I only listen to rap and hiphop usually. A girl that wont like you because the music you like is worthless anyway.

Some girls don't like alot of guys because of their music beleive it or not. When I turn on Static-X in my explorer they give me a look of "Where is that Snoop Dogg my main home squeeze FO SHIZZLE!" and I just find a quick way to end the night usually.

Careful with this. It is true that you shouldn't try to be someone other than yourself but you do want to concentrate on improving who you are.
