As DJ's we are always looking to improve ourselves, is all aspects of our life - career, relationships, spirtitally, and want to live the life we choose to live. A life designed by the high performer!
In all aspects of life, being a high performer is about choosing to accept success and nothing else. Success is about dedication to achieve one’s goals no matter what the road may present in the way of obstacles.
If you are acting as a low or middle of the road performer, then you probably allow others to tell you how to think and act, and generally you allow those, who you think are wiser, to take away your power and control your life. A maelstrom of negative thought forms, created by the masses, has kept you imprisoned.
It takes concentration and personal strength to have the power to stand alone. It takes personal power to be able to concentrate on your goals and to live in the moment - acting out your goals and dreams by being at your best every single moment instead of drifting aimlessly through life and going through the motions without really “being here now”.
The secret to being a successful DJ is to be “in the now” in each moment with everyone you're with – talking to them like they are the only person who matters in your world at that very second in time!
In that moment, you must channel all of your life force energy into that person. When you do this, something magical happens. As your Spirit communicates with their Spirit, it will feel like time is standing still while an indescribable bond of trust is formed.
I have found that the secret to staying “in the now” with any person I'm with, especially when my mind starts to wonder
is say to myself - ‘ELIMIDATE, BE HERE NOW!"
If you can have the self discipline to live in the moment with each person you are with – truly giving your that person every part of yourself during each moment that you share with them – you will see your success will go through the roof and your DJ ability will reach new, unprecedented levels.
Gentleman, performers live in a world of their own!!
They live in a special place – protected from the negative bombardment of the masses be it the news, media, MTV or the pletora of other sources which minimilize their individuality and sucking their lifeforce enregy by distracting their thoughts and focus.
As an DJ you are a performer!
And so, you too must learn to live in a world where you are protected from negativity and fear. Living “in the now” is that world. It is a time and space that only you and the one you are with share.
And so, negativity and doubt can only be brought into this world by you. When you focus and think of only your task at hand and live “in the now” - you have the power to keep negativity and doubt outside of your world, and thereby do your best to achieve your goals.
Design your world to be crisp, clear, free-flowing and harmonious, whereby you can traverse the "middle path" with few obstacles in your way - a beautiful world of peace and plenty where you are free to create your dreams.
