batman begins

i was in time to catch the previews yesterday when i went and saw oceans 12 (good movie imo regardless of what everyone i know told me), and i was able to catch the preview for Batman Begins which will be out in June. The movie looks incredible im just wondering who else has seen the preview or is gettin pumped up for it?

The trailer does look good. This new movie is not directed by Joel Schumacher. I don't think that this will be as campy as the last two Batman movies.

[Francisco d'Anconia]

This one doesn't look anywhere as campy as the last few movies. It's about Batman's origin. It's dark like the original Batman movie which I think was the best. Really close to the old Detective comic books in which Batman began.

 

[Sweet Ken]

The whole point of this movie is to erase the memory of the last two. It's directed by Christopher Nolan, who did "Memento," and it should be in that kind of noir-ish vein. I'm beyond excited for this movie and I think it will eclipse every other superhero movie. I'm not exaggerating, either-look at this cast:

Katie Holmes
Michael Caine
Morgan Freeman
Liam Neeson
Ken Watanabe
Gary Oldman
Cillian Murphy

that's a hell of an ensemble.

yea, I hated the last Batman movie. This new one is going to be directed by Christopher Nolan, the guy who directed MEMENTO (which I thought was pretty original)(EDIT: which ken already pointed out); so hopefully the new Batman movie will kick ass (he was always my favorite childhood superhero).

Batman kicks ass as the best superhero simply because he had no super powers.

I know in pre-filming she was in talks about being Bruce's girlfriend. I haven't read any post production notes to confirm it though.
