"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

After the surprising ban of a certain individual, I have some questions along with some suggestions I would like to post.

Okay,..I am speaking from experience and by that I mean, I am speaking from the perspective of someone who has been threatened with a:
Change your presentation or you will be banned! notification.

I think the rules are pretty cut and dry, and as such, every poster has an idea of what to do and not to do in order to stay active.
You post 'something' offensive, and you're banned. Right??

However, there seems to be a gray area here. How offensive is 'something' offensive? I have been charged with being too emotional when I post, and although I have made the appropriate modifications to my replies, I still have some doubt as to what the reason behind my initial WARNING was.

In all honesty, having guidelines creates a monotony in the character of the posts.(Your personality does not really come through at all).

Is it a personal attack on the individual, or the subject at hand that constitutes being banned?? Is it using derogatory comments, words, or blasphemy that warrants a ban??

I personally, do not mind sifting through a post filled with filthy cuss words, just as long as the individual gets his point across. You generally get a true feel for who the individual is that you are dealing with.

Is there a way you guys can let us know where you draw the line.
This one time clarification will at least give us an understanding of what guidelines we have to follow.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Granted!!! I do tend to get into a funk.. and this obviously takes away from the delivery.(Sensitivity issue!!)

However,.... my question was in the direction of change and awareness.

Should there be a cut and dry guideline for posting???? And if there is one, how do you get the message across without creating, bland and monotonous responses, from each individual.

If your personality suggests you should fill up your "messages" with profanities, I suggest you seek psychiatric support. If you cannot deliver a message to another without profanities or taking everything personal, then don't say anything at all. It is more likely the advice you give with profanities littering the sentences is going to lose its meaning.

People appreciate bland and monotonous responses. Those type of responses are direct and to the point. Whether the message is fun to read or not doesn't matter. The only thing that matters with a message is if communicates its message effectively and efficiently.

Take your time before you post. Draft a version of your message in Word if you want. Check your message for spelling and grammatical errors. Be certain that it is the message you want to send. Is it honest? Rational? Logical? Intelligent? Polite? If you answer yes to all five of those questions, post your message, otherwise, start over and compose another message.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

People get banned when they break the rules. Some are what you read when you sign up: http://www.sosuave.com/vBulletin/register.php?s=&action=signup

But most are based upon a little something I like to call "common sense." Were I to attempt to put these rules into print, it would make up an incredibly long and boring document that, undoubtedly, no one would ever read.

That being said, every case is given individual attention and the mods and I will subjectively determine if someone gets the boot or not. However, most everyone gets a "warning" before being banned. The only ones who do not receive a warning are trolls and spammers, which are banned on site.

Some of you seem to be under the mistaken impression that everyone who comes here is nice and polite, and that this forum pretty much runs itself. Nothing could be further from the truth.

People get banned all the time, people get warning messages every day, and some get temporarily suspended until they learn to change their evil ways. Were it not for your friendly neighborhood moderators, this forum would be worthless.

Understood!

You really only have to tell an individual one time, and if he likes it here he shapes up..For e.g.. (The Edge):D

I still think profanity-laced statements, when used correctly(believe it or not) gives the document a little something extra.
Less I fail to mention it again, it also gives the individual reading it more of a personal touch. (Its how we talk to each other on a daily basis, out in public)

It's not how I talk. I doubt it's how Allen converses. It's true for DIESEL. Yet, it's surely not how most of speak in regular conversations with our friends. The entire point of conversation is to communicate a message to another person. If you can't do that without expletives, your message would be better kept to yourself for inner insight.

Hello granny.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Careful there Demon. Believe me, I take your quest to heart. Turning this site into one that a monastery could be proud of, would be an awesome idea,... if we lived in... lets say.. Tibet...:D

Unfortunately, I have to disagree with you on one point. Although there are a handful of people who may not paint their sentences with expletives, I guarantee you over 90% of the people on this site swear on a constant basis.

Not that this makes it right to do so..But it definitely allows you to write without any inhibitions.

You're telling me to be careful? You were the one warned by administration.

It is common courtesy to remove any expletives from your message before publishing your post. Those who paint their messages with swears without any respect or courtesy for those around them should receive the warning you did as well as a courtesy ban if they persist.

I commend you for your efforts to improve your writing. I've seen definite improvements in your last few posts. You went from profanity-littered to clear and direct messages. ;) Good job!
