"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I don't get it, he was a total badass, totally alpha in every way and the ultimate bad boy (was gona nuke Gotham) and yet...he was friendzoned.....

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

well he was friendzoned by a woman who wasnt exactly a typical female.

....what?

She kept hounding Bruce for money the first half of the movie
She then slept with Bruce the MOMENT she saw he had a picture of another woman in his house
She had serious Daddy issues
She stabbed Bruce from behind when he LEAST expected it
She brought up an incident that happened 8 YEARS AGO
She TOTALLY overreacted to that old incident by manipulating, lying and dragging LITERALLY EVERYBODY ELSE in the city into the drama
She friendzoned the guy that saved her life and literally did everything for her
She constantly shouted and criticized the guy driving the nuke truck
She then crashed the nuke truck the MOMENT she got took over the wheel
And most importantly we don't find out who she REALLY is until it's too late.

Talia was pretty damn close to "typical" as a woman can get.

she also climbed out of huge hole of a prison without a safety rope. and concocted a nearly flawless plan to destroy an entire city with a nuclear bomb...then did whatever it took to make sure said plan was executed. what average female could have done that? how many of these spoiled pricesses you see everywhere could have the balls to do that? not a single one. talia is playing a role that is more like that of a man with huge balls. although she is evil, slutty, deceitful, and manipulative like an average woman. its just feminists unrealistic portrayal of women in movies.
for what its worth, the best message in that movie is "you must climb without the rope."

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

...How old are you, seriously?

You're trying to make sense of these tropes and apply them to characters who are created by a team of writers who's purpose is to fit into and act appropriately in a specific narrative. Bane wasn't "friendzoned" by Talia because he forgot to neg and didnt kino enough, he was "friendzoned" because the writers wanted it that way. And he wasn't even "friendzoned" - not every platonic relationship between a man and a woman is always because the woman "friendzoned" the man - it looked to me as though they both cared for each other like family.

He's the ultimate badboy because he decided to nuke a city and kill millions of people? That's not "alpha", that's being a sociopath.

He was both friendzoned and an alpha because it's a fiction story.

Fiction.

Does that answer your question?

Good.
