You'd be surprised by the high amount of girls that go on dates for a free meal. Don't be like those guys ruining (spoiling) it for the rest of us by making them feel entitled to do as they please with men. Please don't.

Modern Man Advice
Hey, just got back home to the US. I paid for only because i stood her up the first date about a week before that and laughed at her for being so stupid. Was drunk and kind of in an ******* mood.
So her not blocking me or deleting me and asking me put again made me feel obligated to give her a try. Plus im well off financially and it's not even pocket change to me.
It's my time that's much more valuable to me now. When i was younger and struggling financially i used to pull the excuse of me going to the bathroom line then exit the building move on a bad date or make them go dutch. I couldnt be bothered with that now. But yeah i guess she got her revenge so to speak.
Anyways, so much stuff happened to me since then. I ended up dating a hot Columbian expat there since then.
I got into an altercation one one night with some local thugs in Cancun when they told me i couldnt go to Mandalas club anymore because i had pissed off the wrong people. Never talked **** to one person there and was always very respectful. So they pushed me out onto the street and i rabbit punched the main guy who told me that in the face and ran for my life lol. Not the smartest thing ever but i was tired of taking Mexicans **** at that point... a taxi saw me running and opened his door and we pulled off. Charged me an arm and a leg but i happily tipped him. Next day taxied down 2 hours south to Tulum where i met the Columbian chick and stayed down there briefly.
I effin hate gangsters and thugs. Most are worthless pussies with their BS codes and all that crap whatever they operate by. Their politics are insane. But there are power in numbers, especially in Mexico where the police are in on it too. So i finally got out of there.
I was thinking about staying longer or flying to a city outside of quintana roo, but then just decided to come back to the US. Mexico is such a corrupt ****hole. There is no logical reason to live there. I liked the Dominican Republic and Miami a lot more.
Loved the beaches in the whole quintana roo area though but plenty more beautiful places to go without all the hassle and constant looking over your shoulder.
Police really got me good there as well one night mugged me and 2 other expats. I was held up at gunpoint twice in 3 months there.
Another night i witnessed police raiding a few hotel rooms next to me with zero cause after they followed a group of gringos home from clubs. Im talking full out swat team style kicking down doors and dragging people out of their rooms with guns drawn. Mexican police are effin terrible. Most of this somehow never makes the news i noticed.....they pretty much just do what they want down there. I guess it's why most people book resorts. They make you feel much more protected so to speak.
So am just back visiting family and will fly down to Cartegena, Columbia next month. That Columbian chick got me interested in her country big time. Been researching different cities down there ever since. Screw Mexico.
If i dont go to Columbia, ill prob fly up to Alaska just because i have always wanted to and never gotten around to it. Love outdoor stuff. But realistically, it will be Columbia.
