"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I’ve noticed that in life, the events that you think are the worst things to happen to you often change your life for the best. It is useful to look back at some of those ‘horrible’ events and be thankful that they happened to you. If they didn’t, you wouldn’t be who you are today.

Examples:
A guy gets bullied in school --> studies martial arts and becomes a master
A guy grows up poor --> starts a business a becomes millionaire
A guy gets called fatty --> joins a gym and gets the body of a greek god

I’m sure you can think of more. The key idea here is that: if they didn’t go through the undesirable stage of their life, then they never would have had the drive to get to where they are today. The interesting part is that this also applies to sosuave.

Think back to that one girl (you know the one) who sent you over the edge. If that stupid ^#&(&^% ***** of a $^%^* dumb )(!!@# hadn’t treated you so bad, then you would never of had the desire to start ‘study dating’ and find this site. If anything you should thank this girl!

If you are applying the concepts that are advocated on this site, then you should probably be getting girls who were superior to that one girl anyway. Remember, this wouldn’t have been possible if you hadn’t gone through that ‘horrible’ experience.

The next time I run into my girl-who-pushed-me-over-the-edge, I am going to give her a big hug and thank her for changing my life.

If anyone else wants to add to this thread some things in your life that you thought (at the time) were negative experiences, but actually helped you in the long-run, feel free to do so.

Looking back on your past with gratitude is much better than looking back with resentment.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I agree with the same kind of example. Got with a girl at the start of the year, it lasted less than a week. After reading this site I see how I screwed up in almost every possible way, and wil not repeat the same mistake with the next ones. I'll find completely new ways to f*ck up no doubt... lol.
