"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

For the first time I ever I backed down from a fight and I cant get it out of my head. The kid was messed up on drugs and I slightly tired from being up and drinking all night. He also ended up getting my girl because she saw me back down. Im in a bit of a rut and not sure what to do here.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I was going to do that a couple of days ago, he was in the back seat of my truck. The only thing stopping me was the fact it was a cheap shot. Yes I know I should of took that shot.

He might have gotten the girl, but who cares - she seems confused. Since when does backing out from a fight = your are less of a man? Although the disadvatage is that, to others, it appears as weakness.

I know well connected people (guess what i mean here lol) that backed out of a fight, yet, I know that they would've smashed their opponent's chest to the pavement, literally.

Don't let it get to your head, as long as you didn't back out like "no, please help me, don't hurt me", your cool man.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

I know exactly what you mean. I know a couple of those type of people my self. Oh believe me she is very confused, I cant say **** though, by posting this thread shows how much I am my self lol. I look at it this way though my confidence is down, and I feel like smashing someones head in, and when I do and when I win, my confidence will improve and I will use that new found confidence to my full advantage.

I bet it's pretty much same as loosing, gonna eat you up down the road. Try to use this opportunity to join a learn a martial art. Also buy small and strong pepper spray to carry with you around. You can be the toughest guy around, who knows all the martial arts that there is, a pepper spray can still knock you down effectively, especially when used on a drunk.. Other than that try to find new friends and girls.

There may be a lot of stuff to this story you are leaving out that led up to the girl leaving and maybe this fight was just the straw that broke the camel's back for her. It may seem stupid that she left over this, but remember, one of the most important things for a girl to feel around a guy is secure. Women feel naturally attracted to guys that can protect them. If she sees you are the kind of guy that will get your ass handed to you by other men, she will lose attraction to you. It's just that simple.

Just take this as a tough lesson and work on your confidence. Maybe take up some boxing or martial arts and weight lifting if being physically dominated by other men is a problem you need to handle.

Exactly! She said it her self she feels safe around me. But what gets me is when I actaully bring my guard down around other guys and have convorsations she sees it as a sign of backing down..? In my opinion it shouldnt be that way.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Thing is, nature doesn't care about our opinions. Women are programmed that way. It's in their genes to seek out dominant men to reproduce with. It's no different with apes or any other animals. Letting women know that you are easily dominated by other men is the kiss of death.

I still cant help to think theres more I can do though, maybe its time to just cut my loss and look else where.

Thats one thing that caught my attention. Its one thing to back down from a street fight, dont want to get arrested this and that, understandable. But if some douche is trying to start something with you in your own house, you need to make an example out of him.If he's such a d1ck, what the hell was he doing hanging out in your basement anyways? Maybe you need to pick better friends...

You ARE what you say you not

When animals fight they try to intimidate each other first, usually intimidation works and prevents serious fights. For example a buffalo might bluff and scare the competitor and then get his girl without even fighting.

What happened was he intimidated you.. You got scared and start supplicating to him with reason.. He left with your girl and he fvcked her all night long. You lost a fight during that intimidation stage. He won, and he fvcked your girl, and established himself as an alpha of that group of friends.

The feeling of douchbagness that you have comes from the fact that you lost a fight and lost your girl to him. You can rationalize this whichever way you want to. You can say girl wasn't good enough. You can say weights were laying around. Whatever. You lost, and he fvcked your girl. As a matter of fact the sooner you understand this the better. If you don't get this now, six months, a year, even two years down the road this will bug you.

Memorize the feeling that you have now good, because it will come back over and over at you in the future.

You ARE what you say you not, or at least that's how you feel about yourself. You lost a fight and your girl got fvcked, and you telling me you're not a b1tch kid? That is that, and everything else you say is just your brain protecting you from the fact.

Cure is to man up. Yes, new better circle of friends and chicks. On going martial arts training. Just because you used to box means squat, you train for that one moment you have to use your training, which may only come once in a life time. Your training is crap because whatever training stuck with you must have been girl's Home and Gardening class, how to talk serve dinner and please.

There is this saying, it's pointless to throw punches after the fight is over. I'm just trying to help you out here, don't try to hit me. :) But yes, this is how people get damaged, never understand what happened, rationalize everything as something else, and live a life of lie all their lives, then being angry at other people for what happened to them.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

In the garden of Eden we didn't have these things, we just moved on. Then Satan gave us intellect, for better or worth, we now hold grudges. How do you move on from a girl? You get laid 10 times or so. Here you get to join a martial art class and hone your skills. Boxing is good for striking, but just one hit to the balls and it's useless, how many times you see boxers go into corner after the balls hit. Do a yellow page search for Sambo in your area.

Everything that happens to you in life can be a learning opportunity. For next time. There are no failures unless you choose to label them as such.

What did you learn from this experience?

Maybe that this girl wasn't worth fighting for?
Maybe that you lack fighting skills, that you can always learn?
Maybe that it's a good idea not to tangle with somebody on drugs, and that you have good judgment?

Imagine this situation happening again, exactly the same way in six months. Then prepare yourself accordingly.(e.g. learn a fighting skill, carry mace, whatever)
Whether it happens again or not doesn't matter, but you'll be a much better person.

Only when you focus on failings from the past do you feel miserable and like a loser.

When you look at them as growth opportunities, and focus on improving and preparing your future self, you will gain a strength and self confidence that few men possess.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
