"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Heres my input.

I think you did the right thing for not fighting him. You say that you take martial arts. The whole idea behind martial arts is to attain control of your body as well as your mind. You must realize that your body has now become as weapon.

How old are you? (im just curious).

You are going to get many opinions, some guys will call you a ***** while others like me will say its a better decision to not fight him.

Your girl left you for him? **** that. Why would you possibly want a girl who is like that around you??? On this website we talk about improving ourselves, growing up to be strong and believe in ourselves and yet .... you choose to have the opposite in your "partner/gf/*****/ ho on the side/ whatever you want to call them.

If he had taken a swing at you, or endangered your life... then yes.. knock him the **** out. But please, don't call yourself a ***** or feel like you are a weak man. You are not weak, you are confused and upset.

It doesnt feel good to have a girl leave you (no matter what the reason is). YOU made the decision not to fight, because YOU thought it wasn't the right thing to do at the moment, because YOU understood he was on drugs.... so why the **** are YOU upset with yourself?

the girl would have left you sooner or later. With the little that you shared about this girl, believe me, her leaving sooner is good for you in the long run.

Fight only when they swing first.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Best post in the thread. You need to realize that actions have consequences. Yes you might of fought and won and felt like a man. But what if you faught and got hit in the head which resulted in death or blindness? What if you fought and killed him, then got sent to jail... It wasn't self defense because he didn't attack you, he just wanted to fight you. Only fight when you a phsically threatened and need to really protect yourself otherwise tell them to smd. Suck my ****=D.

Thank you for your input, I agree with a lot of it. Except for one thing. The only reason I didnt fight him was because of intimidation, I have no problem fighting people, the only fact was hes a bit taller then me and in the past ive had someone of his size get up in my face to try to "help" with motivating me and I took it the wrong way and let my guard down. It was a subconcious thing. Also I look at it this way. If was to follow through with it and kick the kids ass it would help in other areas of my life for the fact I followed through(which is one of my biggest problems). I want to move to NYC but I feel like im running away and that was never me, I never ran away a day in my life and im not going to start now.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
