"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

it's weird really. The first day of class i meet this chick and get her name and chat her up. Then the next day i dont say hi and she doesnt say hi, neither of us want to initiate contact or talk.
And from that point on...it's going to be like that. And then that awkwardness settles in, cause youre not sure if she wants to talk to you, and vice versa. And if i do initiate contact it would seem to them like im desperate to talk and she still doesnt seem like wanting to talk. So the best choice is to have no contact.

If it was a girl ive never spoken to or introduced myself to, i wouldnt find it awkward to talk to her.

how do you deal with this?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Grab your balls and talk to her. Establish rapport so next time you both have a mutual in to the next conversation.

Its your job as a male to initiate in the beginning. A woman's job is only to subtely demonstrate her interest in being approached.

Just smile and say hi when you see her, then see if she starts up a conversation or does the same back.

Then when there is reason to talk, something to do with the class or situation, go for it.

Or just talk anyway.. Doesn't really seem desperate, you're only making friends.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

woah! no !@$% dude, the same thing has happened to me. I made small talk with this girl twice, got her name the 2nd time, and never even glanced in her direction since then yet alone make EC(about a week) so later today i see her right outside another one of my classes. I say hey so and so and she says what are you up to, except she wont make EC with me. I could tell she wasnt feeling me, out of no where this other dude comes up from behind her and they give a friendly kiss. I ended it there man. You situation prolly the same, what yall think?

yea i know to say hi and stuff. But if it's not reciprocated it's not worth the effort and i just move on.

girl1: hit on me on first day of class, exchanged #'s. called a few times to ask about hw first 2 weeks. tried to get into conversation but she didnt want to, pretended to be busy and said she had to go. another time i went over to her by the end of class and complimented her on project (she pretended she didnt know i was present in class.."oh hey didnt know you were here.) and i left. now 4th week, dont even say hi or or talk anymore, nor call about hw.

girl2: introduced myself and got her name. had a small chat (both interested in talkig to one another), then lecture started. when she left she said bye (name) and i said bye (name). A different class again. she came over and gave me the attendance sheet, i said "hey" she smiled and walked away.
back to first class again, separate seating (arrived late). When she left she came pass my seat and said bye (name) and i said bye (name).

Honestly this is ridiculous. Either theyre interested and act disinterested or just arent interested. I mean sure it's part of the guy's job to initiate but c'mon throw me a bone here.

One of my friends is in an exact situation. He helluva is still interested in the chick and was hoping to get into the group w/her to start chatting to her, but i got into her group (haha).
he is interested but acts disinterested...what about her? who knows.

Yeah it sucks, a lot of girls make it impossible to make something happen with them. I think it was Giavoni (sp?) who wote an article that was on the main page about class room gaming. Maybe be seen talking to other girls from the class would be a good manuever to elicit competition/jealousy since you're probably going to have put her on the backburner and you need new targets anyway..

like all the other guys said, there can be a lot of answers to your questions:

1) she isn't interested in you
2) she is afraid to talk to you ( a shy girl)

-> To find out if she is interested in you, you should talk to her. ASK HER ANYTHING. Trying doesn't hurt at all. At least you will know the answer if she likes you.
-> You should have more self confidence, like I said: at least try and find out.
-> It isn't that you had only ONE talk that she is already in love with you, it takes time man. And you have plenty of it. Impatient people aren't very attractiive IMO.

Succes dude!
