I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

Number 5 on that list(J. Depp)decided to "be who he wanted to be", no matter what... End result was becoming a now sixtysomething dope fiend who's brain is irreparably fried, and who damned near lost his ass, after wifing up a nut job he had a fling with on the set of a highly forgettable film

Paraphrase Chris Rock, albeit in a different context: Keeping it real is often REAL F-CK-NG dumb"

MeToo had been going on for a minute, when he and Heard's melodrama was resurrected, via that WaPo op-ed ghost written on AH's behalf. It certainly exacerbated Depp's plight, nonetheless thus could've happened at anytime. Just consider the details:

A swarthy-ish older guy, who'd spent decades advertising himself as aberrant from "the norm", accused by a then very young blonde, fair skinned All-American looking gal of beating her during their marriage

The prospects of a fella like this NOT being pilloried afterwards are more dismal than Leslie Jones being mistaken for a couth, classy lady any time soon
