Awaking suddenly while trying to fall asleep.

It happens a few times every night.

I will be drifting off to sleep and then for a second I think I am dying and my body jerks awake. Its wierd.

I think it's maybe just my body reacting to a muscle reaction.

Anyone else have this.

when I wasn't taking magnesium malate I had the falling sensation suddenly that would wake me. I love my magnesium supplement now. 250mg a day. More is even better.

Either stress, too much mental activation before going to sleep or some nutrient deficiency.

Dont play videgames 6 hours before sleeping, dont read anything stockmarket related or any other stressful activity and check your magnesium and potassium intake.

If the problem persist you need further investigation.
