Australian men starting to get it?

There is talk out here from a lot of the women that I meet that there is a man shortage in Australia. I did not quite get what they meant by that. Seems to be pretty even in my experience so far and there is no real shortage of men. More a case of women who expect Brad Pitt when all they have to offer is Roseanne Barr. So I hit the web to see what I could come up with and came across this article

from one of Australia's leading newspapers. The article itself was only mildly interesting. The comments that followed are worth going through though. The amount of Australian men who have no time for Australian women anymore and are being vocal about it seems to be growing.

More in the way that so many are starting to put their foot down and more are no longer prepared to tolerate this bull**** anymore. I cant help but think that mens attitudes are starting to change a lot faster than we realise and I would not be surprised if this is starting to happen more and more everywhere else too.

At this rate, there are going to be a lot more single women in their late 30's who never married and never had children.

When men grab their balls and start to punish women by denying them of the relationships that they so desperately desire, women start to complain about the lack of good men. No, honey, it is just that your fat ass and b!tchy attitude do not appeal to men of value, so you will never be able to land one. They will pump you and dump you and you will call them an ass hole for doing so, but it is YOU who must wake up and realize that you have been sold a truckload of rotten goods before things begin to change.

The first generation of "modern" women reaching their 30's and 40's and they are just beginning to get a taste of the repercussions of their life choices. The next several years will be interesting.

I predict the price of cats to double in the next ten years due to increased demand.

Women are materialistic drones who have abandoned family for a career working in an office and handbags and shoes, whilst crying that there are no men left - after they have chased the MTV, sex and the city life-style.

Where have all the good men gone, should be changed to 'where have all the good women gone' - probably prada!

Look at this womens shopping list in response:

Normally these demands are from women with zero personality and a bucket load of entitlement.

I have a cunning plan, import a 100,000 Phillipino women on 457 visas. At least I’ll be able to get a home cooked meal from a woman whose not the size of a house and who knows what fresh vegetables look like.

Anyway, I wonder if this sort of stuff will happen in the US any time soon? I suppose it's already happening a little bit, but not to the point I'd like to see. Women got equality, which turned into lopsided entitlement (having their cake and eating it too), and it turned off men to them in general. Now they're stuck and end up bitter in the long run. I live down here and I see NO change whatsoever in local men and their pathetic attempts to deal with "the modern woman". I have lived in the USA for several years, and Aussie men almost identical in their treatment of their women as our Nth American brothers.

Well I also live down here and I do see a change among the younger crowd. While most may not be up to DJ standards, more and more of them are openly saying that modern girls just aren't worth it. While I was at uni (which isn't that long ago) most guys were suckers and would do anything for a girl's attention, but now those same guys have turned cynical. They're still chumps, but they aren't easily fooled as they used to be. I even hear them say things that seem to originate from sites like this.

The cynicism they display used to be socially regarded as exclusively bitter old men's crap, but now the young ones are showing the same attitude towards women.

I hear also hear men whining about women, and that is as far as they are willing to go . Perhaps this is what you are describing . I do NOT see any of them willing to risk upsetting a woman by standing firm and not accepting baitchy 'entitled' behavior from their G/fs.
