Self-confidence stems from self-esteem. It's the interpretation of your positive self-image.

Your inner cool lies at your core and is what makes you flexible like water. It is more so a state of being 'calm' and 'at ease'.

But yes, both are equally important and should work in tandem for optimal results.

Some day, when I'm really down or exhausted, walking on the street, manage only a fake smile, I ask myself: How do I activate the cool NOW?

How do you activate it when you need it? You only get it when you have it, but the next day it's gone...

We all have this 'reset' button in us. You can actually fuel your belief that it exists, and GIVE it power.

Your physiology AFFECTS your mental/emotional state. If you're trying to smile, hop around happily, walk confident, yet you don't feel any emotional shift, that's ONLY because you're still consciously doubting somewhere in your mind that this principle is ineffectual.

Well interesting idea but I must say this "reset" doesn't hold long for me if I'm just telling it to myself.

What works very well for me is to just force yourself to randomly approach someone and have a quick nice conversation. That, more than anything, gets me right on track. Or some random event, but we can't wait and sit around for those ;)
