Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Should i go out with her?

This semester my attitude along with my clothing changed rapidly. before this semester, i dressed semi casual, now i mostly wear a sweatshirt w/jeans & shoes. And my attitude has become care-free and more laid back.

This girl in my group project was obviously interested in me as she asked questions about me already the first day and before the project had begun. Although this was the fact, i didnt not return interest as her personality is very uptight and i just dont like her. she got the picture and stops talking to me now.

now another girl in the same class, she's non-religious muslim practically americanized. like 1x each week she'd go "hey Screwit!" and i go "hey (her name), sup?" And there were a few times where i kinoed her and playfully bugged her. She playfully buggs me back as well. I used to think she had no interest in me, until today...

her: Hey screwit!
me: hey! whats up?
her: Where are you from?
me: here?
her: no really where are you from?
me: here
her: ok, where were your parents from?
me: ill give you a hint, asia
her: its so big, tell me!
me: here
her: stop joking around im serious.
me: so you really wanna know huh?
her: yes i really wanna know.
me: (long pause) ...here!

then the prof calls me over. then at the end of class:
me: well if you really wanna know... what's the biggest country in asia?
her: China?
me: bingo.
her: ooooohh thats great, i wanna eat some lo mein, make me some! (hits me lightly on my arm)
me: huh i dont know how to make that stuff.
her: you seem like you might.
me: ok, ill tell you this, ill make a cup of noodle for you. (easiest **** ever)
her: make me some dim sum!
me: hm...i dunno either, my mom does.
her: tell her to make me some!!
me: hm..ill think about it.
(we step into the elevator)
her: bring me some screwit!
me: hmm..i cant, i ate all of it! *chuckles
her: i thought you didnt wanna tell me where you're from cause you're ashamed.
me: nah. here's a secret, i wasnt born here. you?
her: nope

then we both headed into the cafeteria, and she ran into her friends and chatted, and i went to get my meal to eat.
Two of her guy friends in the class dont seem to like me or are jealous cause she regularly talks to me. But i dont care.

all i know is sshe has A LOT of muslim guy friends in the school.
And i was pretty certain i saw whom i suspected to be her bf in the library w/her last semester. but i dont know if she's single, a hunch says yes.

Definitely the conversation, shows that she's genuinely interested in me, you guys agree? but she's really not my type, although she is cute (hb6). I have moderate IL in her . Should i even bother asking her out?
and weirdest of all is she's the same zodiac sign as me...

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Stop kidding yourself. You like her, or you would have treated her the same way you treated the other girl. You also wouldn't have made a post about her either because she wouldn't be on your mind.

captainobvious... maybe you're right. But. Her figure isnt exactly a turn on. she's about 5'6 and isnt quite a pear shaped body. she's not really fat either. believe me, where the shirt and jeans meet, you can see some pieces of fat stick out on the sides. there are some girls that have it like that if you know what i mean. so its probably cause of this that made me unsure.

The convo doesn't show shìt... She's just a girl who likes asian food and is talking about it with an asian guy. To me, seems just like your plain-old outgoing type of girl who will talk to anyone about everything.

If you feel she's worth it, number close and ask her out fast. The more time you waste just talking in class, the less attractive you become to her eyes (IF there is some attraction...).

But no matter what, be sure of what it is that you want. If you feel that you need relationship experience, by all means go for it, either way you won't end up marrying this chic, and you're probably just exploring your inner self and your relationship potential.

If you feel you're already quite developed at that level, then stay away from girls you don't want... Until you find something you're genuinely interested in.

I am speaking from experience here: a relationship where the girl is low to your eyes won't last.

I'm getting pretty far here, but you don't even know if the girl has interest for you. I suggest you find that out, and then think some more if you want her or not... And don't lead her on, that's not nice.
