"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Grabbing the most attention!

Hello,

As this is my first post ever on the forums (I have been reading for a few weeks), here are a few words about myself. I am a 17-year-old boy (young man?) from Northern Europe. I am not scared to talk to girls (I mean, I can quite easily hit on strangers, too, although I still tend to fail. But I do know it takes some practice!). Also, at parties I am able to grab the attention and thus flirt and hit on the girls, using the C&F techniques etc.
Well, is it not that you need to grab some attention to have some chance to flirt and hit on girls? As I already stated, I am usually able to get into the centre of attention, because most of the other guys that are around, are AFCs or Mr. Nice Guys. BUT when there is one certain friend of mine (actually I could say he is my best friend) around, I am fvcked. I mean, he is the funniest guy I know. His dance moves are great (not that I could not dance - I am good, but he is better!), he makes everyone laugh (I can do that, too, but he is better), she flirts a lot and is great at the C&F stuff and kino (again - I can do it all, but he is just better and I am left to the background!!), and so on, and so on.
So the question is - what should I do? Yeah - I whould improve myself and be better? Learn some better dance moves, make better jokes etc? But really - what can I do when he is around to grab some more attention than he gets!? It is like the party is ruined for me, if he is around, lol. Actually it is extremely fun with him, but hey, he gets the attention (which means the girls are his, too!).

Any suggestions, lol? Sorry if it was too hard to understand as English is my third language. But looking forward for some nice advice that I am sure to get.

Thanks!

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I used to hav this problem. Dont try too hard in an effort to compete with him. others will see this and see u prob as desperate for attention, which, u know, repels attention.

He may be funnier than u, a better dancer, etc... but u must be the same around as u are not around him. It'll be better if u can show how u and him are different, in a social setting. He cant be better than u at everything.

Work off each other, wingman style. Go out sarging together. If you're funny and your friend is funnier, then I'm sure that the two of you will have the girls flocking ot you.
