"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I've been having a few problems with an attention wh0re. We got on like a house on fire and I pulled her while drunk once. I would burn her and she'd work for my attention and then she would burn me and I'd work for her attention. Only problem was that she had a boyfriend.

For a while it was fun but I got tired of her sh*t so told her I had feelings for her and gave her an ultimatum. Like the archetypal attention wh0re that she was she pretended that she had no interest in me and couldn't possibly understand why I'd think that (blah blah). Of course, everyone around us constantly commenting that we were flirting and would make a great couple hadn't filtered through into her brain.

To be honest, I hoped that she wasn't an attention wh0re and this was the final test - which she failed clearly. I know what she is now and I'm quite angry with her. I should tell you that I'm quite a confrontational guy that doesn't take sh*t and enjoys getting back at people.

We hang out in the same group and much as I'd like not to see her anymore at all, I'm not going to sacrifice my friends for this b*tch. I also figure that this is going to p*ss her off quite a bit.

Anyway, we had that fake conversation about being "civil" to one another from now on but she kept jabbing insults at me like "you must be delusional if you think I like you" and "you've been telling everyone around us that I like you and are poisoning them against me". As I said, I'm not one to back down. So I called her up and told her to ease up on the jibes. What's interesting is that she told me leave her alone yet picked up the phone and responded to all my angry text messages. She still argues with me in public too. You'd think if she didn't want to talk to me she'd just ignore the call or text wouldn't you?

So we meet up in our group today and I'm joking around with everybody including her as if I don't give a sh*t. At one point I was talking to another guy and I glanced over at her and noticed she was staring at me, at which point she quickly looked away. She also flirts with another guy and when they do this I kind of give her a "you filthy b*tch" look and she came up to me and said I made her uncomfortable doing that.

So as we're sitting having coffee in the group she starts making small insults like "God you can't be trusted" and "you can't stop gossiping about me can you?". I ignore this totally.

Later on, I send her an e-mail setting out that she is a manipulative attention seeker who used me as an emotional crutch and how I was moving on and asked her to do the same. I specifically asked her not to reply; just think about the contents and act on it.

A few hours later, after watching some TV, I return to my mobile to see she has called me four times (!) leaving a message complaining about my e-mail and asking me to contact her. She's also quite upset that I'm ignoring her. So I phone her up and told her I stand by everything I've said. She then starts crying and telling me to stop pestering her! She tells me to get off the phone. She threatens to "tell someone" that I'm harrassing her. She threatens to get her (Taekwando champion) flatmate to "sort me out" and her boyfriend to "set me straight". I said she was nuts and it wouldn't be necessary as long as she moved on. She slammed the phone down.

Fine, I said. Next thing I know, her boyfriend is calling me! He knows the full story and is really nervous (can you imagine how uncomfortable this conversation was?!). At first he begins to threaten me like her and says I'm harrassing her. I then put my side of the story (and put a few doubts in his head about her flirty ways) and to my surprise he starts coming more and more on my side and agrees to talk to the b*tch. He even invites me to go for a drink next time he's around. This seems pretty f*cked up to me and either he is just bullsh*tting or both of them are nuts.

To all those with this kind of experience. What is going on with this b*tch? Is she still trying to get at me? Why? Am I hurting her by not being phased around her? What is she going to do in the future? I'm guessing she will try and ruin my rep to get back at me. If I'm being honest I'm enjoying getting to her like this. Is this the wrong approach?

FYI I am trying to move on and realise the utter futility and stupidity of liking a girl that a) does not like me and b) is f*cked in the head. In fact, I have a date this Thursday with a better looking girl than this b*tch.

Jesus! "Never" call women on their games, especially Aws because they´ll play dumb . It´s never their fault, they see themselves as victms.

They love drama, be sure she´s having fun with you. All her crying is a facade man. It works perfectly.

What´s going on? You´re her pawn in her soap opera. She´ll likely to bad mouth you from now on. You don´t have the notion of what they´re able to do in order to call attention.

I posted this thread: http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=56757&highlight=employ+deceive. It may give you some insight.

Well dude, by the length of this post, you had some serious drama, may this be your last AW.

I've been having a few problems with an attention wh0re. Only problem was that she had a boyfriend.

You were just her little toy.

For a while it was fun but I got tired of her sh*t so told her I had feelings for her and gave her an ultimatum. Well, seems like you have an anger problem too. Probably should see someone about that. And she didn't fail any test of yours, you failed all of hers in the first place.

We hang out in the same group and much as I'd like not to see her anymore at all, I'm not going to sacrifice my friends for this b*tch. I also figure that this is going to p*ss her off quite a bit.

Get new friends, did I mention you may need help too?

blahblabblah...You'd think if she didn't want to talk to me she'd just ignore the call or text wouldn't you?

[/B]
No basically she likes putting you down and making fun of you.

Why did you call a girl out on that? Girls already know they're manipulative h0bags. Moving on is cutting off all contact and ignoring her.

I've had this kind of experience, I usually ignore the h0 and she usually tries to manipulate me into a "possible relationship" in which I just laugh it off and tell her I gotta go.

Sure dude, whatever you say. From the example you've giveth to me - You're not even in the right mindset to date anyone let alone be friends with anyone. She isn't messed in the head, it's just your brain rationalizing she's the one wrong.

Yeah don't tell the girl you're interested in her, she should already know but you show her by the moves you make and body language but never up-and-front tell her. If she's interested she would've gone along with your moves and etc etc...

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Gonzo,
I feel your pain man. I'm going through the same thing with this chick right now. The same crap. Lots of flirting and whatnot and then when I told her I was interested she told me I was crazy and blah blah. The only thing that has helped me is turning my attention to other women. Good luck man!

I hope so. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

You were just her little toy.
Guess you are right. But easy to say with hindsight and detached from the whole situation.

You made a couple of mistakes here:

1. You do not tell the girl you are interested in that you have feelings for her.
2. She wasn't pretending she wasn't interested.
3. The people who were making those comments were being nice to you.
I made a load of mistakes. The biggest being letting her get into my life in the first place.

As for the mistakes you say I've made, I have to differ with you. I told a past girlfriend of mine to dump her boyfriend and be with me and I've known other guys to do similar things. Besides, I kind of guessed she would say no and did it to give me peace of mind. The path to happiness lies through certainty.

Actually the problem was that she was pretending she was interested. She was throwing out all the signs of interest. Flirting, personal interest in me, contacting me very frequently, getting jealous around other girls, making ambiguous sexual comments, holding my hand, being upset about why I didn't touch her more, telling me her boyfriend was rubbish!

And the people around us were actually gossiping and genuinely believed there was something going on. They weren't just being nice. When the guys come up to me without any prompting and ask "what is going on between you and X" or "she clearly likes you" or even "she's in love with you" they were not being "nice". When the girls around us told me off because she has a boyfriend or that we were so cute like Joey and Dawson or that "you should make a move X can't stop talking about you" they weren't being nice.

Well, seems like you have an anger problem too. Probably should see someone about that. And she didn't fail any test of yours, you failed all of hers in the first place.
Damn straight I'm angry. But I don't have an anger problem. I've never ever been in a fight or been abusive to women. That's not my thing. In fact most of my friends are women and I'm known as a "nice guy". Which is most probably why she preyed on me in the first place.

Me fail her tests? :D Her only test was establishing whether I was a manipulatable idiot. Which I passed with flying colours. The only test she needs is a psychiatric one. Borderline personality disorder anyone?

Get new friends, did I mention you may need help too?
Why should I? I like my friends. Why should I let her win by taking people I value away from me? Besides, we're in the same class and unless I want to hang around on my own in the library I'm stuck in that group.

No basically she likes putting you down and making fun of you.
She does? She likes being rude. Making fun of me? No. Nobody laughs. I teased her yesterday and said she had stolen Tom Cruise's hairstyle from Last Samurai. Everybody laughed and she was embarrassed. That's how to make fun. Two can play at that game.

Remember what I said earlier. New friends, new attitude, and talk to someone about your problems.
Dude, give me a break here. I've just been f*cked over. A few days ago. Give me some time. I'm trying to move on. But I can't just click out of it you know.

Why did you call a girl out on that? Girls already know they're manipulative h0bags. Moving on is cutting off all contact and ignoring her.
Most women I know or have known have not been anywhere near as manipulative as this piece of garbage. And I refuse to let her ruin my generally favourable view of women. I will move on when I am able (that is, I can get out of being in the same classes as her). Until then, I will confront her and show her up for what she truly is.

Get professional help.
Dude, I think you've been programmed into thinking that women can do whatever they want and men have to take it. I have not been programmed.

No, he wants to kick your AFC ass.
No, I've met him. He is an AFC. Neutered. He was really scared on the phone. No way he wants to beat me up.

I've had this kind of experience, I usually ignore the h0 and she usually tries to manipulate me into a "possible relationship" in which I just laugh it off and tell her I gotta go.
I doubt she is trying to do that. She already has someone who will take her sh*t.

Sure dude, whatever you say. From the example you've giveth to me - You're not even in the right mindset to date anyone let alone be friends with anyone. She isn't messed in the head, it's just your brain rationalizing she's the one wrong.
Yeah, my mindset is not good. Which is why I need time. And I need to meet a girl who will be nice and help me forget this sorry episode.

She is messed in the head. She's told me about how her dad left her mum when she was seven and how she's a screw up. She tells me she has all these psychological disorders (OCD, BPD). I thought she was kidding at first or using it for attention. Maybe it was for real though.

I'm not pestering her. I wrote her an e-mail and asked her not to reply. She phoned me four times and asked me to phone her. Then turned the tables on me. Classic manipulative behaviour. To try and get the last laugh. I have every intention of leaving this girl to stew.

But you are right about my friends losing respect for me. Funny thing is, they lost respect for me because I was stupid enough to get played (not that they saw her for what she was) but seem to be fine with her even though she was the attention wh0re. The guys are much more sympathetic than the girls. Guess they've been through the same sh*t before. Maybe the girls look up to her.

I agree. Well I already touched her a lot, pulled her (even though we were drunk I'm sure she remembers it) and gave her a load of signs. Guess I wasn't thinking right. I actually thought if I laid my cards out on the table it might just do the trick. Deep down too, I felt I was being played and wanted to know for sure. I was getting tired of the constant arguments and games. At least now I know for sure and can move on.

fukc buddy

You "pulled" her one night, so that particular door is open. Why do you gents get hung up on trying to turn these chicks into LTR's? Attention *****s make perfect fukc buddies. I think I know what an Attention ***** is, these chicks are confused and non committal, their relationships never last, but they would be open to an occassional shag. Why not just keep them as friends and bump uglies once in a while, when shes down or you are drunk or whatever?

My problem with this fear of attention *****s is the angle that WE are victims. If we are DJ's, we can't be victims right? Just giver her one for the road, stay mates, have fun and give her one when she is in the mood...if you are. Where you go wrong is trying to change these chicks. The blokes who say, "duck, run for cover, ouch, get help" etc, why? As someone said in an earlier post, these chicks make for porn stars and the like. They enjoy sex enough but find it hard to settle. WHY DO YOU WANT TO SETTLE?

Seriously, follow my drift? You have already fukced her, that path is open dude, why shut it? Also, Attention *****s can be great fun, and they will et you laid in two ways. 1. Other women see you together and 2. Thye can get jealous themselves when you attract another chick and ...bang...they want you, even if only out of spite or jealousy.

Do these things, it will improve your life 100%

Ahhhhh. You know, I just love AW threads. I've fell victim to them in the past, but I still love them. I love f*cking them over, I derive sick pleasure from it, I admit it.

I've really f*cked with a couple of AW's minds in the last year.

I have a nasty habit of turning their game on them now - I make like I'm going along with their sick little games and then I make out with another woman in front of their faces.

and Gonzo - you are just playing right into her f*cking hands.

You should have seen the reaction of the AW that thought she was messing with me when I had my tongue shoved down a hot blonde's mouth right in front of the AW's face.

Better yet, you should have seen my friends who knew what was going on laughing their asses off at her.

It is very easy for us to criticise others for telling a girl you have feelings for her. This is especially the case with AWs. They flirt so much and they ask questions like 'do you miss me' etc. and they almost get it out of you. They try to get it out of you until they hear it. Once they hear it, they feel this sense of relief or even achievement and then back away from you

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I told my attention w*** that she is an attention seeker and this backfired big time. Blue Phoenix is correct. They do see themselves as victims and they also interpret these statements as being possessive. As soon as you become too possessive with an AW they lose interest because the game is no longer fun for them.

3 weeks ago I met a girl down at the beach and identified her as an AWstraight after 4 days of knowing her:
1. lots of male friends
2. always busy
3. often tired and grumpy
4. friends with her ex
5. previous boyfriend was very rich (owned an expensive boat)
6. great actress (drama queen)
7. poor excuses for not meeting up
8. very few female friends
9. shielded me from her other friends

I am now playing with her and enjoying it big time. First date I told her this would only be a friendship because she is not my type. She was thereafter all over me. Once I wilted and kissed her, she backed away. Since then I have been playing games like telling her I will call and then I don't call. One thing with AWs is that you can play games but it won't make them like you. They wil only go for you if they have received a recommendation from a friend that you are 'the man of the crowd' 'the richest guy in the street' They also tend to prefer ugly guys they can dominate and can't handle the insecurity of being with a good looking guy. Often they will have affairs with married work colleagues.

Another thing with AWs is that they will cut you out of their life in an instant. They usually operate in circumstances where they don't have a lot of competition. Mine AW last year used to work in the IT industry and avoid going to public nightclubs. This way wherever she went she was always the centre of attention. So AWs will always get attention from more and more guys.

My advice with these AWs is to treat them with scant respect. Never go out of your way for them. There is no science to getting into bed.

Glad it's coming into your head. Do a search on seeking out Attention h0s and stamping them out QUICKLY. Girls may either be bipolar or whatever disorder.. most of them are mildly psychotic.

All of us dudes have encountered this type of b1tch.

In addition to the above poster another tip...

The AW will HATE you if you ignore her calls/emails or not making an effort on seeing her. Don't worry about this at all -

If you are sick and twisted you should play the same exact games the AW has done to you:

1. Saying maybe in hanging out...
2. Responding to her voicemails/emails a week later
3. Pretend to act AFC and then if you have a current problem (car problems, homework problems) start using her as an emotional tampon.

1. lots of male friends
2. always busy
3. often tired and grumpy
4. friends with her ex
5. previous boyfriend was very rich (owned an expensive boat)
6. great actress (drama queen)
7. poor excuses for not meeting up
8. very few female friends
9. shielded me from her other friends

This stuff is goldddddddddddd. This should go into the Attension wh0re section of the DJ bible, if there is such a thing. I love the complex world of the mind of the attension wh0re, I now know how they think and why they think this way and how to beat them at their own game. Thanks guys! I will avoid the pitfuls of those women that originally brought me to this site. I should actually thank her for making me come here and opening my eyes.........

Besides, if you do give them an ultimatum, you're showing your frustrated, which means you don't have control of your emotions, which means you're weak. This actually shifts the Power in her direction. See what I mean?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
