Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Source: Mirror of the SoulIn the Anglosphere (US, UK, Canada, etc.), the media often reports of millionaires losing half or more of their fortunes to their predatory female ex-wives via the divorce courts.
These millionaires are stupid. Just because you got millions, does not mean you got brains. Smart millionaires, such as one of my best friends, controls his assets, and does not own them. I have mentioned him on here before about his nasty divorce with a woman he found in Mexico.
To recap, things were great for about 3 years, then this woman from Mexico turned into a total predatory female, just like the Anglosphere women are. Anyway, he gave me the final report of his divorce settlement. Since everything he owns and his profits from his real estate endeavors legally goes through his mom, and not him, he owns nothing, so there is nothing for the divorce court to award to his predatory female ex-wife. His predatory female ex-wife even tried to go after the assets that legally belonged to his mom, but this was laughed at by his attorney, who shredded the demand letter, and then she experienced the harsh reality that the divorce court was totally ineffective at "protecting her rights" since she was legally married to a man that legally owned nothing. She was not married to his mom, who owned everything. Furthermore, since he legally had no job, child support was very small, and since he will legally never have a job in the future, his child support payments will stay at a minimum. I believe the saying "By deception we will conquer" holds true for men in protecting their assets from predatory females in the Anglosphere. As my friend said, "The biatch actually thought I owned millions of dollars worth of property", as he laughed his way out of the divorce court.
Hence, by controlling assets in the Anglosphere, and not owning them, and becoming legally invisible in the labor market, a man can protect his millions whether by the scenario described above with good and loyal family members owning them or using trusts or corporations to protect them. Every man must prepare for the worse, hope for the best.
Boobies man doesn't really mean that i don't think.OceanWindRider said:If you're happy with the one woman and you love her, why do you HAVE TO sleep around with everyone just for the sake of "getting out of the matrix"??
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Right, it makes much more sense to live alone then get married not knowing what the person is like when they wake up in the morning, what they are like when they go to bed, their day-to-day routine, etc. It's much better to just jump into marriage and hoping that you're going to enjoy living with them.Last Man Standing said:Never marry a woman who lives with you before the committment of marriage - there is a very high probability of failure!!
I don't think you guys are a$$holes at all for giving me advice about what I should do to be prepared for marriage. I appreciate it. The prenup information is very good information.Rovalier said:You can call me an ******* if you want, I am just giving you something to consider. You don't have to do it. I think it is worth knowing.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I've seen some horrible advice on this board but your advice has to rank in the Bottom 10. You don't truly know a person unless you've lived with them. I've spent over a year waking up with my girlfriend, going to sleep with her, dealing with her while on her period, while she was sick, while she was moody and just about every other possible scenario. And likewise, she's seen me in my many different stages and moods.
Getting married without living together first is an awful idea.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
