"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I havent posted in a long time, possibly as result of not needing any advice and growing out of asking bout every little situation with a women. But this scenario has stumped me beyond question.
This girl who ive been seeing in a open relationship for four months now, has a really hot roommate. My girl is leaving early to go home for the holidays after she is done with finals on saturday. Next semester she goes to australia for a semester abroad and i probably wont see till next year in the fall. Now her roomate from wat i get the sense shouldnt be hard to get. And in addition my girl and the roomate arent getting along right now. SOOO here is the question.
How do i go about approaching the roomate, without looking creepy? And should i try my moves after my girl leaves or while my girl is still here and use her a unknowing pivot?

MUCH HELP APPRECIATED ;)

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Ask her for her email address and keep in touch until your girl leaves. I wouldn't try to do the swap until she is out of sight and out of mind.

Nice tip - even though they literally live in the college brownstone (three story building for those that dont know) next door - how can i ask her for email - do i just show up randomly to the place when my girl is not there?

Use the girl that's leaving as lubrication in building rapport with the target. That way when the first girl leaves, you should be well established and ready for the assault. Good Luck.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I don't know how this would work in practice, but you're not really attempting a switch, rather a replacement.

If possible take things down to the "friend" level with your current gf, but still find reasons to hang out with her, and more importantly the roommate. Use the time to raise your value in the roommate's eyes.

Then just wait until your current gf leaves, and move in.

P.S.-I don't think the Seinfeld style roommate switch where both roommates remain can be done.

Agreed. This isn't the classic swap. But thats to your advantage. Try to build some rapport with the roommate so that after you g/f is gone, it would be natural for you to hang out with the roommate.

Wait until the g/f is gone thought to make your move.

Yes. Say, "is she here? her phone isn't working." That can be your excuse to be at that apt.

finally i can set up rapport thats no problems - but should i be straight up about my interest right away - or should i set up a couple meetings to warm stuff up ?

Even thou i feel like if im randomly talking to her now then it already displays a sh8t load of interest

thoughts?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

You mean should you be her friend first, and then try to show your interest? I don't think that's ever worked for anyone on here. Show interest fast (nonverbally).
