Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

So months ago i found out he has a crush on her. Then he calls up my friend asking for her number saying that she asked him to call her at like 1 am. THEN..theres a whole thing between my friend and him saying how he should stay away from her ( i didnt say anything) He says to relax and we're in love so it doesnt matter. So i thinks its all cool but then a kid comes up to me and tells me how he keeps trying to "mack" it to her. THEN..somehow he gets brought up and my GF mentions how he is throwing a party and when she said she would bring me he told her to come alone and/or with her girlfriends.

We then kinda made fun of the kid for looking and acting weird, but whatever. Do i say something to the kid? Or is it more saying something to my GF about getting him off her own back? How do i go about this or do i just let this kid keep trying and acting like its all good?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I wouldnt say a thing to the dude. I would walk away from the chick your seeing. ALot of times the flirting is 2 sided but chicks are manipulative and make it come off like the guy is doing all the flirting. If you confront your girlfriend it will piss her off... If you confront this guy hes going to tell your chick how you threatened him and make you look like an ass.... If you suddenly cut all contact with your girl without warning.. pull all your emotion away from the chick and have her go insane for a few days===weeks, she will prolly come back and call her on her ****! Because i can promise you that ur girl is prolly flirting with this dude.

I agree she IS flirting with him. She does flirt a little bit, by nature she is a playful person and this makes others think that she LIKES them. Soo..she wont change and i dont expect her too but i expect respect. (she told him she wouldnt go w/out me and this kid keeps on persuing her even after he told my friend he isnt and we're in love so it doesnt matter)

yeah. This happened to me.. my girl left me.

If you're gonna avoid contact with her, avoid it totally dont show even the slightest bit of affection for her until she decides to come back to you.

Yet, if she's having a good enough time with the kid, she'll go for him.

1. Either stop the interaction between the kid and your girl.

OR

2. Leave your girlfriend totally (test her to see if shes loyal enough to come back to you) but get ready to lose her.

This is the sad truth, no matter how much she loves you, she WILL go with her emotions!

Wow, hold on. She acts towards this guy like she does with MOST..it's her personality. BUT the diff. is this guy isn't on friendly terms with me and likes her and is persuing her. Most guys know shes mine and to stay away..or that its just her personality. This kid is ****y (but weird and weird looking). In terms of being a threat to me, bull****...but i just dont need this on my mind. But then again it is possible for her to go w/ him but i HIGHLY doubt it.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

You don't. If she would rather be with him, you have to respect that. You don't want to be the guy beating up someone else for flirting with your girl. You don't own her.

hmm... I play that game... either YOU have to show her that YOU are better, or simply pummel him into a hole in the earth... I say, ( and I am that dude, in some respects.. I seek out chicks that have BF's... they tend to be the only ones worth having) either YOu have to show her that she has a LOT to loose by losing you, or just beat the living Crap outta him, and walk away from the situation. either way, you need to find a way to save your respect for yourself. you have to be one of two things.... either so fed up with the crap that you'll result to violence, or TWO, be such an amazing BF that she'll realize that she's crazy for thinking about going on to another... TRUST me, I know that BS game... she's only flirting to make you jealous... and you have to ask, "WHY, would she do this"... well, she's trying to get your attention, shes trying to see WHO will pay the greatest amount of attenion to HER... women are self serving, she is seeking the one that will treat her BEST... your job, as a BF is to Improve the way you treat her.... MOST men get in this frame of mind that they have "scored" a chick by being with her, and being her BF, but that is SIMPLY BS! you have a daunting task, just to stay at the front line, and KEEP her as interested in you, as you seem to be in her... .

Another approach would be to flirt with other girls... many women will see this as a means of "replacing THEM"... drives them jealous crazy! its a reverse psycholological tactic.... She's doing it to you, do it back to her, and see her reaction.

BTW, I've metioned that I was that A$$hole that steals girls from their BF. yea, I've had a few that got the nerve up to fight me... ended their relationship FAST. and I ONLY pulled girls whose BF's were so self centered that they felt that they were too good to loose their woman.... IF they were doing their job, I wouldn't have had a CHANCE... I may only pull one out of every ten, thats 9 out of 10 BF's that are doing their JOB!!!

i dont know the whole situation of this, however i think it would be a good thing to let her know that other women are after you and that you're able to drop her any minute because of your value. Right now you're in a tough spot, she's making you jealous by doing this.

reacting to this will show your jealous, & that you care...and perhaps a little controlling...which could start an argument with her.
not showing jealousy shows you keep your cool and that you dont care as much...however by maintaining this, she might take it to the next level by making you more jealous.

The way i see it is it's a no win situation. i only see 2 options...if she does cheat on you, drop her...she clearly doesnt respect you. if she's playing the jealousy game, you can do it too.

I recall something true that someone said,

"it's easier to steal someone's gf than keep your own."

I say step in as soon as you see her smiling. Introduce yourself to the guy as the boyfriend. There's nothing wrong with jealousy if it's justified.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Would one really think women are that idiotic and useless? I mean, she can tell him to **** off. If she doesn't, tell HER to **** off. That's if you consider it to be a real relationship, if not, do as you please, play macho, whatever.

You guys are ridiculous. This other guy has clearly and intentionally crossed a line, and it's your duty to tell him to stop. He's not fooling anybody. I'm not saying you have to go and beat him up, but show up at his house and tell him he needs to back off. He is wrong for 2 reasons:

#1 He is putting your girl in an awkward situation
#2 He does not respect your relationship or YOU.

He is OBVIOUSLY macking to your girl, so you're just going to let "nature take its course?" Hell no. Your obligation as a boyfriend is to confront him and let him know that he's crossing a line, and he needs to back the eff up.

If he decides to fight you... well.. he initiated that. You save face. But if you DON'T say anything, then you will look like a pu$$y.

My 2 cents.

i dont agree with getting in that guys face, id do what everyone else said- talk to other girls, if uve been a dj she'll come around. u could also push the other guy in the wrong direction, make him be an afc, have him get her roses and candy, this will push her away from him and back 2 u

hey even if this has passed someone tell me what they think about my idea, i'd like 2 know what u guys think about that

How about showing up at his door with this great line Joe Pesci delivers to banker from Casino:
Nicky Santoro: I think in all fairness, I should explain to you exactly what it is that I do. For instance tomorrow morning ill get up nice and early, take a walk down over to the bank and... walk in and see and uh... if you don't have my money for me, I'll... crack your ****in' head wide-open in front of everybody in the bank. And just about the time that I'm comin' out of jail, hopefully, you'll be coming out of your coma. And guess what? I'll split your ****in' head open again. 'Cause I'm ****in' stupid. I don't give a **** about jail. That's my business. That's what I do.

Yes. You are 100% correct!

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
