"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I know there has been much discussion and debate on this topic in the past, but I thought it would be appropriate to start a more up to date one. For those who feel self-improvement is one of, or the most important part of your being please add your thoughts, and comments. I have recently took Jariel's advice and started my own planner of daily, and monthly goals. It works to an extent and im getting most of my stuff done. I find myself running short on stuff i can do to improve daily.
My list usually includes: Gym
HW
4 bottles water
Occasional tan, or haircut

Thats about it, but im looking to make it more detailed and longer. Is there any other aspects of self-improvement im neglecting. (fitness, intelligence, hygeine, appearance, diet). I just want to feel like im not wasting time, i always want to be improving in some way, any advice of ways to improve when your bored, from your personal mission to improvement?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Being more social, trying new foods, picking up a book to read (which I really wish I'd pursue), and picking up a new sport this winter. Say like skiing/snowboarding?

Here's the key: Childlike Enthusiasm

Be excited about any and everything, be curious about how things operate, ask numerous probing questions, question everything. Daydream about your fantasy life, create your own reality, and then, stand up and represent what you're about.
If you're bored, then you probably don't have a big enough goal. The real meaning in life takes place when you're involved in something that's bigger than just your own existence. Find out what that is. Only then, does your "self-improvement" become not something you do just because it's good, but because you're eager to win. Then your routine doesn't just become... routine. Make sense?

To your best.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I love the self-improvement aspect of this site. I wish it would get its own sub-forum.

There's a million things you can do with your life! The problem should be not having enough time for everything you're doing, rather than not enough activities.

There are all kinds of physical activities that are GREAT for you (lifting, running, sports, swimming, wall-climbing, martial arts, etc.)
Also:
Learn to play an instrument.
Gain knowledge. There's so much knowledge in the world that can improve your life.
Improve your career (or if you're still in school, find out what you want to do...it's never to early to start improving your resume)
Help others.

many many more
