"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

My junior prom is coming up in May and I would like to know when and how I should ask her? She is the girl I really want to go with and I would love for her to say yes. Since the Jr. Prom is like early-to-mid may when should I ask her?? How should I ask her--with a ****y remark, keep it funny, or just ask it regulary; also where should I ask it? I was thinking "(name) would you like to go to the prom with me?" would be to AFCish. I think it sounds to nice and corny--any ideas of when, how, and where should I ask her?

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

This is probably the only situation where you can get away with being totally AFC because it's "so cute".

So do something gay and cute, like hanging up a banner in her homeroom class, or writing a message in chalk on her driveway.

I just said "your coming to prom with me". She said "ok" and then i elaborated a bit on the actual plans for the evening but as far as asking that was my method

Yeah, thats the most likely way I want to do it by saying "your going to the prom with me" and "are will be going with me to the prom" but what if she says "no I am not" then walks away. Thats even worse than a no in my opinion. I want a way where it can improve my chances any way I can get it to, by asking in a different way...hmm, I gotta think long and hard about this.

“The 22 Rules That Turned Me From Invisible to Irresistible With Women… Starting Tonight”

You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.

These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.

theres no way to improve your chances by the method of asking (unless you go completely afc and buy lots of ****)

it's either she goes with you or she doesn't, no "prom pick up line" will change that outcome.

so it really doesn't matter how you ask, as long as you do it

Since the Prom is in mid-May, and it's March 1st, when should I ask her and where would a good place to do it? Meet at her locker after school and say "would you like to go to the prom with me?" be okay?? Would after school be a good idea and when should I go for it? I'de say in a couple of weeks--I hope I don't stall too long...

Couple of weeks is good. Prom is a big deal, so the girls will want to know who they're going with, etc. a couple months before.

You have to decide first if you're going completely AFC for this, or if you're going to stay total DJ. If you're going AFC, then see my above post. If you want to go DJ style, just say "you're going to prom with me" or something along those lines like some of the others have mentioned.

You have to remember, you have to stay true to yourself. If you want to improve your chances, truthfully it would be better to go AFC because girls will think it's cute, while IMO going the total DJ style is a bit risky because girls might think it's disrespectful to just tell her she's going with you.

Personally, I feel you should be DJ most of the time, but in certain events that girls value highly, such as Prom, or her birthday, etc. it's better to do a combo of AFC and DJ. Like the banner in the homeroom thing I mentioned and then when she comes to talk to you, say something like "all that work has to get me the date right?"

So: AFC action, DJ words, rather than the usual formula of DJ action and DJ words

again, it does not matter how you ask her to prom. it's gonig to either be she goes with you or she doesnt, the way you ask will not affect her answer (unless you put her on the spot)

i would suggest 1.5-2 months in advance

Ask the girl at least six weeks before prom. It seems like a ridiculously long time, but these days more and more girls are ordering prom dresses online.

How you ask her is up to you, but I suggest that you keep it casual. Don't make a big deal out of it or anyting that involves an audience (such as a banner in her homeroom or asking her over the intercom). If you're nervous, pass her a note during class. Or use the "ask her through a game of hangman" trick.

Good luck!

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I think I'll ask her face to face to show I dont need to be a wuss and that I can't ask her directly. I think if I ask her directly, she'll see a little more confidence in me. I doubt she is going with anyone right now, so I hope my chances are high. I asked this one girl who likes me to the semiformal and she said yes, but I will ask the girl I really want to go to the prom with face to face and I will just ask it...If she says yes, fine--no then I'll need to find a different person.

Sounds good dude. As kev07 said how you ask really isn't gonna make much of a difference with something this big unless you put her on the spot in public (that will probably lower your chances). Just play it cool and be confident.

Ok, this is my last post under this topic: I am going to ask her tomorrow after school face-to-face and ask her confidently. I plan on saying "So (name), the prom is coming up and I would like to know if you would like to go with me?" Thing is, I don't want to just approach her and ask her right on the spot. I would like to get into a quick conversation then ask her. Another problem, what I plan on saying above, sounds so AFC I had trouble typing it--in my mind, it sounds desperate and needy. I don't know why though, but I plan on asking her tomorrow or Friday this week and I will NOT hesitate--I WILL go for it whether whether what anyone else says--Any last tips??

My prom is the first week of May. I was making out with the girl I wanted to ask last friday and I just stopped and said "So HB, when are you going shopping for your prom dress?"

She said yes :)

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Well I walked up to the girl today and confidently asked if she would go with me to the prom. She said she'd love to, but doesn't know what her ex-boyfriend, whom she still has minor feelings for, is going to do. Her ex-boyfriend has a girlfriend, so she said she doesn't know what she wants to do. Like I said, she said she will go with me, but wants to find out what is going on with the other guy first. I said alright and to let me know. Then we went after school to watch our intramural dodgeball games where we had a lot of fun and I made her laugh as much as I could...

Personally, I took it as a rejection. She won't let me know and will most likely go with the other guy, even if he has a girlfriend. But I really wanted to go with her, but I don't want to get screwed both ways by waiting for her. Was this an excuse to not upset me with a simple no or do you think she'll consider it??

Any thoughts on what I should do---whether to demand an answer sometime from her or just forget about her and see if I can find someone else?

You should prob start looking. And I should have recommended having multiple options before you asked one. Good Luck man.

Goddam it I need to increase my chances, since that girl left me for that guy, (if you really want to know, look up my profile and go into all posts, I think its my second post I made) I haven't got much luck so far. Most of the girls are taken, thus far, I got one who I think made up an excuse (I hope not), one who isn't interested in going to the prom (she a junior), and another who have a person already. Many others I would ask already got a date a long time ago. I hate prom. I hate that I have to be in position. I hate hearing my friends talk about it especially since everyone of them now have a date (especially since I was one of the first).

That's basically a no. You're a backup, essentially.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
