ok, skipping the bull crap. this girl asked me to come over to her house to watch a movie next week. I said yes.

Now she's wanting to know why I haven't asked her out yet ( not through her words, but through a question such as, "when a guy likes a girl why doesnt he just ask her out?" ). well apparently she asked me out first.

tell me I'm missing something here and she's not a complete retard.

Well, she wants it to be easy.
What about guys who say the same thing? "When a girl likes a guy, why can't she just ask him out?"
That would be too easy.
But maybe you should have asked her out, to get to know her, because that's what someone would do if they knew what they wanted. You have to go for what you want.
