"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

If you can't be man enough to ask me for my daughter's hand, I don't believe you deserve her and I wonder what sort of creep you are. She has my last name for a reason, I put in the work, I've loved her, raised her and cherished her. I helped make her the woman that you love and if you want her to have your last name, then you better show me you deserve it. That's a Dad's point of view.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I rather not have to do this awkard hokey thing but a mans gotta do uncomfortable thigns sometimes right?
Two things can happen:

1) He says "okay" in one form or another.

2) He says "no". In which case that's your turn to prove to him that your love for your girl is stronger than his decision. He will respect you saying "I respect your decision, but sorry I love her and this is how it's going to be."

Take it on the chin mate.

Another question. I have to buy the ring. I have no idea what kind she likes. I dunno if she likes round rectangular diamons or whatever. I dont even know whether she would want whitegold or yellow gold. I dont remember her ever telling me. Kniwuing girls she probably told me over a year ago or soemthing and i porobbably didnt pay attention cuz i was no where near read to marry her then. In the p[ast year i havent heard mention anything. How can i get this out of her? Can i ask her directly? Wouldnt that ruin the surprise of it?

Usually when the girl is really ready she is mentioning that kind of stuff. If you feel the time is right to propose then maybe you propose without a ring and take her to pick one out. Or maybe she really is the type that will like anything you give her.

Well shes made it clear shes ready for marriage she keeps hinting at it, i wouldnt say pressuirng me but she needs assurance every once in a while. So thats not the issue. I think she prob is the kind of girl tyhat would like anythign i give her shes girtly but shes not very materialistic with regards to most things. Im not sure tho, i hate ruining the surprise of it by askign her to pick it out. I def dont wanna propse without the ring.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Well I personally do a lot of research and get involved in knowing any expensive product I'm buying and if you're like me You might end up finding or creating a ring that you really like for her. Check out www.bluenile.com to play around with different settings, cuts, clarity, etc.

She's not giving me any help here, so i may justhave to go with soem, thing i think looks nice. I heard u cant go wrong with round or princess cut. Maybe ill get platinum since i dunno if she wants yellow or white gold. Platinum supposedly is more excpenisve and not hypoallergenic or something so she cant complain bout platinum right? Im thinking a carat tops, cuz i dont wnana spend more than 6-7 grand and from the research ive done i think its hard to find a 1.50carat for that price. I hope ill be able to steal her ring to get her ring size without her noticing also. Theres so much to think about when doin this its harder than i thought lol.
