"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I was clicking links on my friend's blog, and came across this girl who goes to the same college as us. She's a HB9. She sems really cool from what I've read on her blog. I'll be hanging out with my friend tomorrow night, what would be the best way to approach her about this? I mean, it dosen't come off cool like "Hey I was clicking through your links and saw this babe, hook us up?". And what should I ask her to do? Set me up on blind date or what? I've never seen the girl on campus before so there's really not much I can do.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I can feel you man.

lYlasTer, if you want to meet her just walk up to her. I'm not good much in cold approach but you can ask Thundercat, he's good at it. But i was never rejected approaching anybody so i think i wasn't just doing that much. So here is my suggestion. If you wanted to approach her, do not remid her of anything about her that you've seen in some blogs.

You can walk up to her looking straight in her eyes and relaks mode, and confident bahavior while saying, "Hi... I noticed you from there... I was wondering that... if I didn't meet you i wouldn't know what you were like... aside from that I already know." You will most likely get a response with "What is it that you know?" or just a plain "What is it?". And you can deliver the "By the Way I'm <INSERT YOUR NAME HERE>", don't say much more just your name and you'll go far by that.

Tell me again what happened. Good Luck lYlasTer

Thanks for the advice, but my problem is that I've NEVER seen her on campus before. It's a HUGE campus so it's not weird to not know 1/2 the ppl.

One more thing, you can go back to her profile and find out where most likely she would be. her hung-out her trips her kind... That will give you a hint where and how to approach her.

Good Luck

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

approach your friend with the blog the SAME way you will approach the girl, just ask you friend that you want to meet her. Its the truth and you not giving yourself away. asking for a blind date is dorky.

and when you do meet the girl remember to USE what you've learned here, you cant go wrong.

If he is a real friend he won't introduce you but he will at least get you two in the same spot so that you can introduce yourself.

How about this:

Get your friend to help you throw a big party, invite her, when she shows up, approach and hopefully close.

Boom...you're in there

Ok some details. First off my friend is a GIRL. I was honest with her that I saw her Xanga, and really wanted to meet her. She said, "Don't worry I'll talk to her about it, I'll introduce you two." She seemed excited. Last semester I helped her out a lot with her boy troubles, I guess this is her chance at repaying me.

My friend told me some stuff about her. Right now she wants a nice guy to settle down with. She's extremely hot, so she's tired of every single guy treating her like **** and trying to get into her pants. So I guess my strategy will be DJ, without no fast seduction. Charm her, confidence, challenge, patience, and be a gentleman. I'll keep you guys updated.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Definitely... Blind dates don't achieve the desired effect most of the time. A friend of mine is on one right now, as I type this message. He got asked by one of the hotter girls in my school to go out with a friend of hers that only saw him once, while walking through the city. Kind weird to ask for a blind date after that, imho.

If you don't know the persons' personality, how the fvck are you sure if you really like the person in question? Then again, I do suppose you'd better do something than do nothing...

Hmm I doubt we'll be set up on a blind date. More like she'll have lunch with her, and invite me to come along so we can meet each other. All I need my friend for is the intro, I'll take care of the rest. I'm not shy around women and am not scared of making approaches. You wanna tell me how I could meet this girl if I've never seen her before. I'm just interested in meeting her. She's cute and seems down to Earth, once we meet and vibe then we'll go to next level.

hmm. I think it would have been better to say you were "interested" in one of her friends, rather than you "like" one of her friends.

What?

You call that a mistake?
You were doing what you thought felt right. That's not what I consider making a mistake, it's just an action you take. Don't start overanalyzing your decisions like so many people on here do. Just act accordingly to what your gut is telling you to do.

Let me suggest that you don't wait for your friend to introduce you, and don't wait for her to introduce herself.

If you introduce yourself you are showing her that you are interested in her without even saying it. Then you can sit back and observe her response. Don't let her put you in that position though.

You should always be the first to strike by saying something.
The one who speaks first has a poweredge if the other party gives a response.

What do you think they developed the 3-second for?

An Update:

I talked to my friend today. She said the girl wants to meet me, so the ball's in my court now. I'm going to AIM her a message asking to meet up for lunch. There is a Semi-Formal in two weeks and I plan to ask her to it. This girl is a 9.5, I will DJ her and not revert to AFC'ness. I'll keep you guys updated.

you don't need to tell us what you're and who you're going to be, but it sounds like a plan.

cuz sometimes people say "i'm gonna lose weight" and never do. Just a heads up you know. As for your friend hooking you up, that's nice of her. I asked the same favour from a good female friend of mine and she NEVER did.

Good luck in your situation

Ok I saw her online this morning and IM'ed her. I just said who I am and I asked her to join me for lunch, so we're meeting tomorrow. Today is the 4th, the Semi-Formal is in 12 days. I'm going to build rapport as best as possible and ask her to the dance. Sooner the better cus it takes time to prepare for. Ahh im so excited.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
