"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Assuming David D had actually field tested his comments about asking women what looks good on you turned out to be a fatal mistake. You must already need to be a MPUA before attempting this because I am telling you guys this is the worst I've ever been shot down in the history of my entire life. If you think women in nightclubs can be rude, you should hear the comments one gets attempting this. I'm impervious to rejection but this is worse than anything I've ever experienced in a nightclub.

The only good thing that happened is a live band was playing in the mall. I talked to a hottie about the band and eventually made up a lie that I used to be a drummer as she seemed into musicians. I was too bumed out to close by this point although she was giving me good signals..

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

What do you mean? I'm not familiar with the "what looks good on you" rap. What is it? And how bad were the responses?? (If you're emotionally ready to talk about them yet in detail ). ~D

David D

Claims that if you want to know something fashion wise, just ask a nearby woman. I tried this and most of them asked me if I was a fag or made weird faces or otherwise commited undesirable acts.

I definitely didn't get any fashion advice.

HAHAHA I think you need to re-read or re-listen to what david d actually says, If you need fashion advice ask a girl you already know not one you are trying to pick up.
If you are trying to pick up a girl ask her about an item of female clothing for a friend/sister of yours.
Trying to pick up a girl by asking them what looks good on you just sounds needy, weird and looks like you lack the confidence to make a clothing descion and as far as a girl is concerned if you cant decide what shirt to buy you probably aren't that good a descion making overall.Once again I will make a point I have made before.....It is no good knowing and doing all the tricks / lines if you don't understand why all those tricks / lines work.
Good Luck

Not a line...

I wasn't trying to pick her up, in fact I wasn't even the remotest bit interested in any of those women. I actually just wanted to know whch shoes looked best with my pants.

I think a lot of times women flatter themselves by telling their egos any guy who talks to them wants them. However, I don't
go to all this trouble to land myself a 7.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

hmmmm, interesting

there were a couple of times I did this about shirts and a jacket ( asked another women in the shop which one did she prefer ) and the resposes were pretty positive. I mean they would tell me what looked good and why.

I work in a sunglass store as well and sometimes if a customer cant make up his mind, I just grab one of the by passers outside my store ( female of course ) and ask her which one shes prefers. I havent been shot down, most of them actually take interest and have a reason behind their choice.

I still stand by my advice, grab a girl you already know and get her to go with you to buy clothes / shoes. As for your comment about most girls thinking you are picking them up when you just talk to them....I agree, however the reason that is due to all the AFC's that do try and pick them up regardless of hotness.

Wow, the clothes looked that bad on you? :)
Give the guy a break. His advice is not one to be followed literally. That's what I like about it.

I wouldn't ask a stranger for advice, except if I am really impressed with her own looks and style. And if I'm that impressed, then I don't consider her an 7.

Ha ha interesting. I'be done this about 2 years ago, lately I only do it sometimes and it's usually because I HONESTLY want an opinion.

I have NEVER gotten a bad response or a girl thinking that I'm gay or any of the sort. I was at this huge shoe store in cali 2 years ago, and I put on 2 different shoes, that look similar. I walked around the ENTIRE store, asking for every girls opinion, old or Young. Soon I had women coming over just to see what's going on, and everybody pitched in on the opinions, and even gave me great reasons why they feel like that.

You have to be assertive when you do this, not scared. I think that's where the difference is. If a womam would even try to pull a "oh I'm not sure" on me I would for sure come out with "Oh give me a break, you're a woman, it's practically your duty to criticize men and tell us what you like and not like" I would take no **** and they WILL go along and give you an opinion. Depending on what kind of response you get, you can decide if you're going to ask her for number or any of the sort.

I suggest doing in in a funny/flirty way, but be sure that you got some IOI's prior to this. On the other hand, you can also just not give a rats behind of how she may be acting and go in for the number anyways, it's really not a big deal, who gives a shvt.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
