"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

What are confident things you say in a situation? (it's hard to explain what the point is...here's an ex)

EX:
When you're at School, and she says excuse me to get through the crowd. I say "No". She thinks about it, giggles, and moves on.

I remember reading this in another situation

EX:
Can I borrow a piece of paper?
Sure, when do you need it back?

Little things like that, tell me what you do?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

familyguyfan, I kinda agree with you, but it is kind of entertaining to think about this thread, cuz I usually answer pretty wittily, but don't remember what I said.

Yeah. I was more talking about how dumb his examples were. Who honestly says "No" when someone says excuse me?

i would never do this with a girl i like but alot of my friends that are chicks know that i hate being asked stupid girl questions like does this make me look fat. So whenever a friend says does this make me look fat i usually reply "christ yes! jesus i didnt know whales had legs."

Other then that i jus try to improvise.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Basically you're looking for funny immature little things people say right? Well, a lot of my friends say this and it was pretty funny because it's unexpected, but it gets old since they always say it to me. I just ignore them now. It could be a nice one timer though:

Them: <asks a question>
You: Because you touch yourself at night.
________________________

Other stuff I say are like:

Them: What time is it?
Me: Time for you to get a watch.

Them: Where are you going?
Me: . . . whereever God takes me.

Them: What's that for? (refering to project or something)
Me: Top secret. If I told you . . . I'd have to kill you.

So those usually get everyone at least smiling and clear up the mood. What follows are kind of dark.
_________________________

Them: <starts to talk about problems>
Me: hold on a sec, let me get comfortable

Then I put my head down and say, "ok I'm ready."
__________________________

I tend to stand up for people and this is some stuff I say in those situations. Shuts them up quick and all the bystanders too sissy to do anything look up to you real fast.

Them: <someone trying to be funny, but is failing miserably by trying to be a jackass to people they think are lower>
Me: Dude, are you still talking?

Them: <making fun of people>
Me: **sneeze** whew!*sniff* Sorry, but I'm allergic to *******s.

Ok so basically sometimes Im really cynical and my darker side comes out. Other times, I just use stuff from movies you know like the "top secret..." example.
