My opinion: Sexual promiscuity, if it can be accepted or hidden, is a net evolutionary positive for the cheater, albeit a negative for the cheatee. And the opportunity to cheat presents itself when there has been a divergence in the sexual market value of the parties, which of course is typically wifey's SMV going down relative to hubby's.

You get points for being open minded, I guess. There have always been two types of women: wife/gf material and slvtty/prostitute/strippers. The latter can get away with being more sleazy.

There's a reason for the double standard though (where women get looked down upon for being promiscuous). From an evolutionary standpoint (which is something they like to refer to here a lot), a woman who can lock down a husband to help support her children is at an advantage.

Being slvtty doesn't automatically qualify a girl as a great plate, IMO. YMMV. A woman doesn't have to be a virgin (certainly not in this day and age), but I tend to respect the wife/gf material type than the girl who just puts it out there for anybody.

Sex is just a natural biological function, like eating. Only we REALLY don't need sex to live... you have to eat. We place WAY too much importance on sex, relatively speaking it's just not that fvcking (no pun intended) important.

I have 3 women now I date and sleep with on a regular basis (lost one last week), they, I am sure they fvck other dudes... I honestly do not care. I wear a condom and I am careful... never had an STD. I'm not trying to insult or belittle anyone, I just do not understand why men get so bent out of shape about chicks fvcking other dudes? I'm sure it's me... because most guys I know have a real problem with this.

I actually think that sex is a bigger deal than the community makes it out to be - considering that the result can be a child, and that promiscuity can lead to STDs. But I genuinely am disgusted at the thought of sharing a vagina with another penis. I believe this sense of revulsion is consistent with evolutionary advantage and therefore a natural reaction, so I see no reason to try to change it. Admittedly, when I was younger, I was so horny I didn't really care, but as I've gotten older, I've found it more repulsive.

The "over time" part is the most important. As an evolutionary advantage adds up over thousands of generations, so having 1% advantage is plenty.

The two ideas are also not mutually exclusive, but you could do an imaginary split test to see who would win.

Genotype A: The guy who ONLY hooks up with girls he's reasonably sure haven't hooked up any other dudes
