What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Or, it's against my religion because that is an abomination to my God and that's a rebellion to God's natural order and contrary to nature. To even have this discussion is a level of moral degeneration that people who would write an article like that have no moral compass or know north from south when it comes to morality and are "gone". To even entertain a discussion or taking an article like that seriously is giving it more life then it deserves. As an aside, I could just the same make an issue of religious intolerance against that view-point.
