"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

It feels like being an average man except that you're not considered creepy untill proven otherwise if you do a wide a range of perfectly acceptable behaviours.

Ask any average guy how much attention he gets from women and the answer wont be different from the one from the old woman.

You see, they are so entitled in their head that they take it for granted that people is nice to them or give them attention, that the unusual part is that when they are like "everybody else" with no special treatment.

And btw I dont believe that woman which says that now she is happy cause people take her seriously, I bet that she would give 10 yrs of her life to get back her young beauty and play in god mode.

The thing that struck me about the two women's answers was that there was no mention at all about any husband or significant other. Just talk about not getting attention, not getting flirted with all the time, and not getting dinners or drinks bought for them. If they did currently or ever had a husband, apparently they didn't warrant a mention.

In your 50s, you realize that you have become invisible to men.
I saw a similar quote from an article written by a man. I think the guy was only about 30 though. He said something like "When you turn 30, you discover you've become invisible to young women". That was a load of garbage. Sh!t, I'm 52, and I don't feel invisible to women, young or otherwise. Not saying I'm "hot" though, I'd love to know what that feels like. I've always figured I'm a fairly average looking guy, but at least I seem to be aging well. So far.

True. I have young young girls c0ck-check me quite a lot. It's the image you put forth + the perceived social status. That combination, deadly, but you should also be in good health, but even if you do have some nagging pain, medically, or gas atm, or an unknown broken bone, which distracts from your interactions with them not being able to focus on saying the right thing in the moment, then that will not even matter most times. She won't notice you're in pain or distracted by something talking to her, cause she's still mesmorized by you status/imagine, regardless of age, I'd say even at 60+ for some of the younguns.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

If a girl was really beautiful when she was younger it could pay dividends for her later on in life. For example, I know this one woman I went to school with. She was cuter than anything back then. Now she's aged and gained weight, and has been through a few divorces.

But there's a guy who remembers her from school - he was always kind of a dweeb, probably not so much now. She wouldn't have even looked at him back then, but now they're engaged. He probably thinks he hit the frigging jackpot because he got her. If you would have gone back to high school and told him who he was going to end up with, I bet he would have lit up like a Christmas tree. :)

I like the comment from the guy who calls bullsh!t on her claim that people take her marketing pitches more seriously now that she's unattractive. It's hard to believe that being a young and beautiful girl would hurt her sales chances. Look at how many pretty girls they use in advertising.

I know, eh? The idea of a nearly geriatric female still flirting with guys seems downright insane...yet, this is the new normality. It's a strange world that we live in..

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Plumped up did they?

Rarely but some women look downright low in high school then turn into a hot chic in their late 20's...most hit the wall though.

Exactly. The hottest women in just about any city is going to be in the nightlife and advertising industries. Sex sells, and who better to use than the sexiest people in town?

And as the future progresses, count on even more women looking fantastic into their 60's...those women who have the money will continue eating healthy and working out and routinely going under the knife for boob jobs, lip enhancements, Botox, etc. etc. And I'll be there to game them and fvuck them (and eventually discard them) all day. ;)
Hey, that's all they want anyway. Why would people spend so much time trying to look good and feel good if it didn't matter?

It reminds me of Rollo's "pour girls" that they use to sell vodka. Do you suppose they get old, unattractive women to pour the drinks because the guys will think they have more credibility? "Wow, what an ugly old woman. I have GOT to get me some of this vodka!" Lol.

I was reading "Models How to attract women through honesty" Mark Manson. It said that the average women reaches the peak of her attractiveness at 21, while for males it was 31. What it also said that studies had revealed that most women in general viewed the average 45 year old as attractive as the average 18 year old. This didn't take into account other factors such as fashion, grooming or whether the men hit the gym. It would be safe to say men have a good few decades on women. Women who workout, could add a decade or two.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I'll agree with that.

This is hard to believe.

I think one decade is fair.

it all boils down to how well people take care of themselves and genetics, if you are blessed with good genes, life will still be kind, if you workout you can remain attractive well into later years, women and men.
for women though, remaining feminine is increasingly difficult, staying slim isnt enough. there are some very good looking women in their 40's and 50's though.
for men keep the weight off and work out and life is good.
therea re so many slobs about these days, you dont have to look like arnie to stand out.

I think you are overestimating the attractiveness of your average 18 year old male. Remember, the study said males peak at 31. A 45 year old is going to be a lot more manly and masculine than an 18 year old. That's going to make up for the "youthful beauty" of an 18 year old, who is still in many ways just a boy. Remember, women appreciate maturity, and look to men as leaders and protectors - you're not going to get that from a guy who is basically a child.

Right, I know a lot of older women who are slim, thin, and in shape. But their skin looks like crumpled paper, it's wrinkly, and hangs off of their frame in an unattractive way. The fatter women, ironically, don't have the wrinkles but their bodies are no longer pleasing.

Women need a certain amount of fat in their skin. When a woman works out like a fiend to maintain their shape, this is not the same effect as a young pretty girl who is naturally filled out in all the right places. Her beauty is not dependent on big muscles, she actually has to appear young and fertile. And while exercising might help, it's not a substitute.

There is nothing intrinsically attractive about women over 30 other than societal brainwashing...of course women will work out to 'look young' but that is a phony facade that could never fool men with sharp natural instincts.

After age 28 fertility in women declines sharply, after 32 high risk pregnancies begin.

remember for most of human history women had ALL OF THEIR CHILDREN BETWEEN AGE 15-25...by 27 a woman would have her five to ten kids and a husband and village/tribe to care for them.

we can't just shrug of these tens of thousands of years of biological hardwiring through just 2 generations of media brainwashing and 'sex and the city' telling women otherwise :)

just because men lack historical perspective doesn't mean history's truth doesn't weigh heavy on us.

I disagree with this thread some what.

because I know a woman who is in her 40-ies and she gets attention from so many guys a day! young guys and old guys.

lets face it guys are desperate and will hit on anything so when a pretty girl gets old the just need to look f**kable and guys will still be hitting on them.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
