Good article. In the United States, it has been quite common for people in their 20s/30s to live at home since the dot com crash in 2000. The new college graduates in 2000-2002 were late Gen X. Once the early Millennials started graduating from college and grad school in the mid to late 2000s, this became an even bigger thing.

Living with your parent(s) in your 20s/30s isn't good for your sex life as a man. A lot of women are going to be seriously judgmental about that. Women in their 20s/30s can get away with living at home and not feeling the effects of it upon their sex lives. However, it is more common for men in their 20s/30s than women in their 20s/30s to live at home. The economy of the 21st Century has been unfriendly to men.

Another thing that can happen is that unattached men in their 40s/50s can end up having an elderly parent who need care living with them. That can affect a sex life too.

There is a difference between "living with your parents" and "having your parents as roommates"

There was a time period as I was waiting for a rental house to open up, where my wife, infant daughter and I all shared the guest bedroom at my parent's house. That was an interesting experience for 60 days.

If you flew back to the nest, you owe it to your folks to contribute in meal prep, do your own laundry, and clean your own area and help clean common areas. And it might seem odd to talk about "Roommate rules" but you have to establish a new order of business rather than fall back into your high school roles...

I live at home and the living situation contributed to the divorce back in 2014. I think it's more of an issue when you are mid-twenties to thirties, but once you are in your 40s, then you just do not care. You are just resigned to your fate as far as dating is concerned. In fact, the older your folks get, the more they are like children and the roles are reversed as they are more clingier and need your attention.

Not everybody my age wants to rent a hotel or have sex in a car on a regular basis. It's not easy to bang women if you don't have your own place.

relative, where I live is kinda normal you live with parents till you marry or so, sometimes more since you start to take care of your parents too, so since you are single is rally not a issue where you live, plus the cost tend to be high and more people under a roof helps to ease this, the problem I would see is you don't work, don't make any money and don't leave.

true where I live what hinders sex is not having a car then not having a place, motels are big here for this, worse case her place. I can tell everytime I had sex it was on a motel or her home, never my palce last I want is random people knowing where I live.
